I don’t agree with everything this guy says, but he has a reasonable, well thought out thesis.
Conservatives biggest problem now is that they are percieved to be AGAINST everthing and FOR nothing. Cutting taxes is not the solution to every problem under the Sun.
They also seem to feel that the solution to every diplomatic problem is to not even negotiate until the other party completely does everything they want. Do what we say or we’ll bomb you.
Actually, the Republicans seem to be not so much conservative anymore as downright reactionary.
Even you, BZ, consider me, a gunowning, Christian pro life military veteran to be far left. I used to think I was center right, but you all have gone so far right that I’m left. I’m confused! What is the middle anymore? 😀
I saw this several months ago and it is quite compelling.
In the end, the LOL will be what he is remembered for.

It is a compelling statement… and yes, LOL is right, after I get through crying for what they are doing to my children and grandchildren…
