The Demorats are finally out of the closet: their two month pogrom is clearly about money and power: the money forcefully taken from you by government, and the power they wield in order to enable their ultimate goal of Social Engineering.
This clarity is no more crystalline than in Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner’s statement to Katie Couric as documented on CBS News.com:
Days after GM’s CEO Rick Wagoner was forced out by the Obama administration, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner left open the possibility that such moves could happen again.
When asked if he would leave open the option to pressure a bank CEO to resign, Geithner replied: “Of course.”
GM CEO Rick Waggoner being forced to resign was the first large opening salvo in the Obama Administration’s beer-hall putsch to re-engineer all of America.
You must understand that everything you’ve witnessed and experienced these first few months under Mr Obama’s presidency has been carefully orchestrated by him, his handlers, Ms Pelosi and the Demorats to purposely take advantage of the American people’s confusion, in order to ram down their re-engineerist agenda whilst Mr Obama still basks in the fresh and golden light from his halo of “Change.”
With each passing week — nay, with each passing day it becomes more clear that these machinations are naught but a naked power grab.
If Mr Waggoner can be taken to task and “fired” with great alacrity by our government for his stewardship of GM, then why is it that the American Taxpayers cannot hold government responsible and summarily “fire” them as well?
Further: if, as the Demorats would like, former President Bush should be impeached for the firing of his administration’s eight US attorneys back in 2006, then what should be the penalty for this administration’s “firing” of a private corporate CEO who, up until recently, had not “worked” for the US government?
You must understand the foundation for all of this: Social Engineering at an unprecedented level, on an enormous scale, which will result in the complete and total collapse of this country. More about that this weekend.
Money and Power. With a massive dose of hypocrisy thrown in for maximum measure.

P.S.
If you love this, just wait until you get a fiscal whiff of “cap and trade.”
Sounds like socialism to me!
It just keeps getting deeper and worse each day.

I’m ready for some politicians to be fired aren’t they on the public payroll just like the companies that were bailed out and are they not doing a poor job. Why do we have to wait for the next election. Guess I’m living in a dream, yea—a nightmare!
I’ve had enough WHIFFS to last me a lifetime, haven’t you?
EVERY SINGLE day..WORSE and WORSER, BZ….it’s unreal
Ya, and FOX is celebrating a 16 pt lead of the republican from CT against Dodd….in 2010! are things SO bad that we are getting excited about a lousy lead for 1 1/2 years AWAY? IF we survive? man
The pic is 100% right, that’s what reality is going to be for many in the western world from now on.
We DID fire the politicians who screwed us over for the last 8 years:REPUBLICANS.
As for Waggoner: It seems that GM and Chrysler will be going bankrupt soon, so I am sure that will make all of the Detroit Haters happy. I don’t feel sorry for him. He is walking out the door w/$20,000,000, afterall.
As I’ve said before:
‘If we are a timeline saved, most recently being that flock of ducks that nearly triggered WWIII into a hot war back in the 1980’s, then we seem to have been forgotten in this timeline as no real interventions have happened while society decays into pointless political bickering. My personal speculation is that this is now the ‘Stuck On Stupid’ universe, because all the competent ones either finished humanity off or are in some other continua having a good laugh about those of us left in this universe.
It is a form of ongoing joke… but it has a point: if you want to be rescued, then do keep the society that is both resilient enough and has enough good individuals in it to do that rescue. Never depend on just one end of the scale and expect salvation… like the Roman people did as the Empire decayed. Soon the barbarians were seen as a solution, and civilization fell again.’
And no one is going to come and save us this time… so we are up to it on our own. Because this timeline is looking like the one that is a bad joke to answer: ‘What would happen if authoritarians who were absolutely stuck on stupid and inept got ahold of power in the US?’ It isn’t a pretty picture. We can even ascribe malice into it at this point due to evidence build-up, so we can have *both* sides of the quote by Napoleon of not ascribing events to malice that are more readily explained by incompetence. We now have incompetent, malicious folks at work!
Its a bad joke.
And we are the straightmen.
The marks.
The butt of the joke.
And no one is coming to save us this time.
What cracks me up is that some of the same people who are up in arms about all this typically fail to see the direct correlation between COMPULSORY institutional (government) schooling with this willing handover of our lives to the government. How were so many German people so easily convinced to look the other way? They’d been trained to shut up and do whatever their authority figures told them to do for a long time thanks to that fabulous thing called compulsory schooling. Thanks, Prussia! Prior to that, except for slaves, schooling was always optional and education was self-directed in more ways than you can possibly imagine.
Fascinating that it’s like blasphemy to “really” say anything against the public school system. It was only made compulsory (with few ways to legally opt out–and those getting fewer by the day) after the Great Depression. A great sign that compulsory schooling has done its job is in the fact that people generally can’t even remember when it didn’t exist, or how they’d ever learn without it. This is a profound failure of imagination–imagination has been axed in this country. Tests can’t measure imagination, so it’s not important. Oh–guess what? Shakespeare didn’t have a PhD in English or Theater!
Obama says he’s “open” to alternatives such as charter schools. Charter schools are also controlled by the government–just so you know. How open is he, then? How open are we if we refuse to imagine anything different than “schooling” or offer any merit to anyone who TOTALLY opts out of the system to educate themselves or their children? America used to pride itself on being a nation full of independent thinkers and bright imagination. Group think, anyone?
