Silver Lining

The Demorats are picking themselves apart already, less than 14 days from Barack Hussein Obama’s inauguration on January 20th (Wish to go? Bring cash.) as 44th President of the United States. Things are not quite going, ahem, as planned. To wit:

-New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson withdrew his consideration for commerce secretary, as a federal grand jury is investigating how a California company that contributed to Mr. Richardson’s political activities somehow managed to “win” a lucrative New Mexico state contract.

-Demorats are not quite behind seating idiot Al Franken.

-Diane Feinstein is not quite pleased that Obama has picked Leon Panetta as CIA director and, as she was not consulted (Feinstein now will chair the Senate Intelligence Committee), she may oppose this selection.

-Obama has not quite weighed in on the Gaza Strip situation (I conclude it’s simply because he has little true idea what firm position to take).

-Demorat Caroline Kennedy is not quite taking the New York area by storm with regard to Clinton’s Senate seat.

-Demorats are not quite as cohesive as many seem to portray them.

And all of this despite the Demorats now owning both houses of Congress.

It’s a funny thing about “being in power.” When you have it, you actually have to make decisions and in a timely fashion. You also have to be unified and coalesced. You have to make a plan, sell the plan and execute the plan. Demorats are finding, even before the inauguration, that all is not joy in Mudville.

What a ride.

  1. It might even be fun watching the demoncraps waddle through the next–at least–2 years with all the power, IF I was a citizen of another country. As it stands however, I am afraid, very afraid.

  2. Everything is bright and sunny, it’s a joyous day, now that the Demorats are in charge!

Imagine this: on January 21st, SUDDENLY, the economy will MIRACULOUSLY “seem” to be getting better, the war in Iraq will “seem” to be getting better, EVERYTHING will “seem” to be getting better with the Demorats in charge!

It’ll magically “seem” to be a beautiful new day; just you wait and see! The DEM/MSM will MAKE it so!

  3. A great rundown of the mess that the Democrats are in. A friend told me that after Obama won she was relieved because then she wouldn’t have to be defending McCain for the next 4 years. I was bummed about Palin for a while but now I’m relieved too.

We can sit back and watch Obama and the Democrat controlled congress attempt to deal with big people problems and find that it isn’t as easy as they thought. Also, the liberals favorite person to blame (Bush) will be gone and they will have to start taking responsibility (not that they will) for their screw ups.

Also, I think Obama and the people who voted him in both have a rude awakening coming. Obama will find out that the terrorist threat is ACTUALLY REAL and that Bush has been protecting us for the past 8 years despite what he thought. And the people who voted for him that thought he would fix all their problems will soon realize they’ve voted in the most liberal candidate ever who isn’t going to pay their bills and make everything okay.

  4. Dee, my guess is this: since he’s now privy to the PDB his eyes have been MUCH opened to the truth and reality of today’s world.

The Left is SO going to have Buyers’ Remorse.

    Life tends to do that.
