The Law of the Sea Treaty

This treaty would allow the UN to be on steroids.

This would mandate, essentially, that the US would bend over for Kyoto protocols, via the back door.

International judges and bureaucrats would be deciding the future of THIS nation if the treaty is ratified. These judges and bureaucrats are lining up, rubbing their hands, suits ready.

We could see our Constitutional form of government eroded by treaties. With scarcely any debate.

Go there now!

Reject the Law of the Sea Treaty. Because if not exposed to the light of day it shall be passed in the dark, quickly, shoved and rammed through by agendist forces. From the site:

The United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea – commonly known at the Law of the Sea Treaty, or LOST – is the darling project of the transnational progressives, or “transies.”

Their goal is nothing less than the establishment of world government at the expense of traditional sovereignty.

Unfortunately, the Bush Administration has decided to push for immediate ratification of this fatally-flawed accord. This is a monumental and dangerous policy shift.

Though the website is broken down into a number of different divisions, if you can spare the time, please try to understand the depth and breadth of this Globalist document.

Once signed, the document turns over a massive amount of authority from our own internal government to a global body which considers not any amount of individual national need.

This is simply another attempt to completely equalize every nation on the planet. As if, for example, the United States is the equivalent of, say, Burundi or Sierra Leone.

The Globalists are attempting, once again, to count on your collective ignorance. After all, how could something entitled “The Law Of The Sea Treaty” be anything but effective, proper and sensible?
Col. Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee: I think I’m entitled.
Col. Jessep: You want answers?
Kaffee: I want the truth.
Col. Jessep: You can’t handle the truth.
The truth is the LAST thing the Demorats and Globalists want exposed to the Light of Day.

  1. But guess what, Bush? Pelosi’s attempt to ram through the Turkey resolution was SHOT DOWN IN FLAMES — predominantly by the BLOGOSPHERE!!

If we spew this into the LIGHT of DAY then perhaps we can triumph once again!

Another reason ALL the Demorats and ALL of the LEFT despise us: our ability to COMMUNICATE.

  2. The thing is unconstitutional, to say the least.

Congress gets to set US laws on the high seas for the US. The President and Senate cannot do anything to a Congressional power, that is why we have a bicameral legislature. The SCOTUS spent the first 100 years throwing out Congressional restrictions on the high seas, and went with the most expanisve view that could be justified under English Common Law and the Black Book of the Admiralty.

LOST is a UN powerplay, pure and simple. Plus you get a nice UN tax with it, too… yes to administer this critter the UN would get to tax US commerce. Isn’t that *special*?

Might want to remind your Grand Emirs in the House of Elders with 100 seats about that. Unless you like the UN telling the US what it can and cannot do with its own trade…

Whoa! BWH I have been going through many trials and haven’t been keeping up! Thanks for sharing this crucial piece of information. After all is said and done, the UN wants to establish a unigov where they are right and everyone else who dare disagree with their pansy yet totalitarian doctorines is wrong!

Alas that we have come to this! I honestly hope that Whomever becomes our next President will have sense enough to see through this wretched nonsense.

I think that the UN and the rest of the world is upset at our Constitution and has been doing whatever it can to demolish it. Screw them! 😉

  4. Mr. Z – My thanks!

I am doing my best to get out the actual roots and foundations of the Nation, and no go into the handwaving over this or that text. Plain, simple, easy to understand, right in the US Constitution. Our founders chose well on how they grounded this Nation so that we could understand it and easily.

We refuse to teach this to our children.

Is it any wonder we are losing liberty and national sovereignty across the board? You can have a Nation amongst fellow nations or you can have an Empire on the global scale. Those backing LOST want the latter, and there will be hell to pay if it goes through.
