Robert E. Lee…He is undeniably the most beloved military commander in history. He hated slavery, but was forever loyal to his family and his home. Anyone like that is someone I want to sit down and have a conversation with.
George H.W. Bush’s wife, Barbara… I want to ask her how she raised such awesome men, and get advice from her. There is a lot to be said about a woman who had a husband as president, and two very successful sons. I am not sure of the history of the rest of her children.. I have heard of a woman who has raised 12 children and all of them were in high level places in the government, or held high level jobs and were very successful..

Count Flavius Belisarius… The man defined honor, dedication, and supremecy of military thought, of which we can still learn much. His biographer spends almost as much time on himself as his subject… and the fragments we get to see suggest someone far greater. Of course I would need a translator…
If I was limited to someone who knew or knows english and can coverse…difficult… Captain Gars had some knowledge of English, if just a smattering, enough to curse fluently, at least…. but if not…
Richard Feynman would be fascinating to talk to on just about any subject from high energy physics to computer science to nanotechnology to painting to rhythmic use of the bongos to curious stamps from foreign lands… engaging on any of those topics (and many more) and the keenest mind of the last century, Einstein included…

Hey Blo Zep: Good post. I would invite my distant Patriarchal ancestor Thomas Rigmaiden and his slave Feloneez. I would also like to meet Madame Curie. Out of those three, I don’t know which I would choose first. Although Madame Curie being the first female NObel physicist and then chemist really is exciting. And Feynman would have also been cool to meet…Too many choices I say!
