PRAGUE – Czech President Vaclav Klaus said on Wednesday that fighting global warming has turned into a ‘religion’ that replaced the ideology of communism and threatens to clip basic freedoms.
‘Communism has been replaced by the threat of an ambitious environmentalism,’ Klaus wrote in response to questions from the U.S. House of Representatives’ Committee on Energy and Commerce.
And then there’s Al Gore.

“Man can not and will not ever distroy the Earth, can’t happen. The Earth is an ecosystem that will take plastic and turn it into a plant. When it gets tired of man it will shake us off like a bad habit and re-clean itself.”
I agree, we can’t distroy the Earth. We can however, distroy mankind.
Ranando: I’m with you on that view as well. I’ve seen it with my own two eyes, as I may relate later. Matter of fact, I’ve written so many posts that I believe I’ve specifically covered what I witnessed in a prior post — if I can find it. In any event, yes, the Earth shall survive and no, there is no guarantee that we shall.

Klaus is a one cool dude. Imagine a leader that stands up and says enough instead of trying to appease these flakes.

Kudos to Klaus for using logic, vice the emotion that algore is trying to stir up.
