Demorats’ Job One: Elimination of Free Speech

As I prognosticated some time ago, the first order of business for a Demoratically-controlled government would be the elimination of Free Speech or, more specifically, anything other than their speech.

The very DAY of the election, New York Demorat Chuck Schumer said on Fox News:

Asked if he is a supporter of telling radio stations what content they should have, Schumer used the fair and balanced line, claiming that critics of the Fairness Doctrine are being inconsistent.

“The very same people who don’t want the Fairness Doctrine want the FCC [Federal Communications Commission] to limit pornography on the air. I am for that… But you can’t say government hands off in one area to a commercial enterprise but you are allowed to intervene in another. That’s not consistent.”

That’s what the Demorats believe: dissent, or the ability of Conservatives to communicate and speak their minds on talk radio is pornographic.

You will note, of course, that the so-called “Fairness Doctrine” only applies to radio, where Conservatives have a horrid capitalistic lock; it does not apply to TV, newspapers, magazines, or any other form of communication where the Left have a lock — after all, that wouldn’t be “fair” to the Left.

Michele Bachman won. Norm Coleman in Minnesota won over the manic idiot Al Franken. Mitch McConnell won. It’s not quite a filibuster-proof US Senate. Tom McClintock beat Demorat Charlie Brown in my 4th Congressional District. And moreover, in Fornicalia, that bastion of The Left, Proposition 8 won — which stated that marriage is a union between one man and one woman, overturning the Fornicalia Supreme Court which took it upon itself to make its own law instead of interpreting it. Gloria Allred recently said she’ll be leading that battle — wait — where? Oh yes, that’s right, all the way back to the Fornicalia Supreme Court.

You think the fight just ended?

Oh no no no no, my fellow Conservatives.
The fight has just begun.

  1. They started before the took full power. I am sickened at what they did to Joe the Plumber.

I did notice this about liberals. Last Saturday night, I went to the Obama rally in Springfield, MO. I went to stand up for free speech. I went to see if the numbers were real. (They bussed in stargazed kids.)

To make a long story short,(if you want more details, I can provide them)I parked several blocks away. My mom, her best friend, and I walked among the Kool-Aid drinkers and their insults. I held a sign that said, HEY OBAMA, WHY DID YOU TRY TO SHUT JOE THE PLUMBER UP? We were told to leave, called names, and whatever else you could imagine by the people of the tolerant democratic party. When I claimed that I was practicing my First Amendment Right, they laughed at me.

As Dear Leader, Chairman Obama began to speak his lies, I drowned him out with an air horn. Needless to say, the party of tolerance, didn’t like when their free speech right was taken away. (I had planned it this way.) I was first attacked by a woman who grabbed my arm trying to take the air horn from me, and then a butch lesbian attacked me two more times and would let go of my arm.

Two things came out of this. Once again, I discovered there is no tolerance in the democratic party. Two: these people don’t care about what is at stake. They could care less about the right to free speech. I never once treated a protester at any of the Republican rallys I have been to the way I was treated at the Obama rally. Obama is scary, and now we are fnding out the media sees something “creepy” and “created” this whole time. We are in for a long four years and we better be ready to fight for all that is right!

  2. Actually, I forgot that I was logged on to my dad’s account. So if you want to hate the person who air horned the Obama rally, take it up with me, not my Dad! It was me who defended free speech! It was me with the air horn.

  3. Looks like you and I are on similar paths lately on the days we post.. I posted on this today too.

I don’t think socialism can creep it’s ugly way into ruling America like the left thinks it can. Not without a huge fight.

  4. We definitely had a preview of what our lives post free-speech will look like in Joe the Plumber, but really in all the election coverage and the way people were horrendously treated for backing the conservative candidate (see Clay’s story). But frightening as it is, seeing that is waking people up. Conservatives have seen the danger and will not stand by and let the liberal illuminati mute us.

  5. DW: thank you very much for visting my blog and your comments, particularly with regard to my father. I too was in radio (though a number of years ago) and worked for the station which first featured Rush Limbaugh as a matter of fact. He surely won’t remember me, but I do him.

Sandy/Clay: thanks so kindly for visiting and taking the time to comment. I think you’ll find that I only go places on my blog that I am forced to and your incident proves the points I’ve made for some time. I am, therefore, FORCED to make the comparison that few will:

Islamists and the Left have, actually, MUCH in common in this one regard: they have little if ANY tolerance for dissent in any fashion. It is THEIR way or no way.

For those whose sole philosophy is “diversity” and “tolerance,” Leftists are astoundingly undiverse and intolerant of ANY dissent; they perceive dissent on any level as RAGE or MEAN or VIOLENT.

LMB: and, of course, the media somehow managed to completely delve into the private life of Joe the Plumber and revealed, in 24 hours, what the media have NOT revealed of Barack Hussein Obama in 27 months!

  6. WHAT a perfect cartoon….great one, BZ.

Gayle, I love that idea of half mast..you serious? I’ll do it. I swear I will. And I hope the LA Times comes out and does a big story about it, too. I would have hung obama in effigy after the Palin hanging happened, but I figured there was a double meaning there I didn’t intend, so…..

Joe the Plumber’s treatment is THE scariest thing I can imagine. Brown Shirt tactics and the media never winced. Except the conservative media, but, you know..they’re all just rightwing nuts who never tell the truth.

THIS, folks, is the thing we REALLY have to FIGHT..this demonization of anything conservative..and we have to start SOON> Turn this awful tide…..because we’ve got a Third World media nobody’d have imagined in this country unil THE ONE.

  7. What if all these doom and gloom things that Rush and Sean keep screaming about never happen? What if Obama really DOES govern from the center?
As an independent, I just don’t understand how idealogues from the far right and the far left both just scream at the other side.

I have have voted for both parties because I don’t vote party I vote for who I think will do the best job.

Obama was not my first choice, but I voted for him anyway. I think McCain is a good man, but what really turned me off was all of the hate and fearmongering. We fell for it in ’04 but the people were not suckered in twice. Give Obama a chance, he may do a good job.

Gayle- You should fly your flag upside down (that’s a nautical signal for ship out of control).
Let’s try to be Americans and stop the verbal civil war, shall we?

  8. well, well, judging by the odor in here, the Rancid Right got a little more smelly today. you guys continue to fester.

can\’t quite accept that your policies were totally rejected? Gayle? Grow up.

ran-cid (adj): having a rank, unpleasant, stale smell or taste, as through decomposition.

  9. Thank you BZ for your kind words. I have come to appreciate you over these last few weeks. I am praying for you & your Dad.
That’s neat about you & that station that aired Rush! I remember being as disgruntled in ’92 as I am now, & just found Rush at that time. You are a blessing. Keep looking up! (Lk.21:28)

  10. Tim: I’ll tell you what – thanks for taking the time to visit and taking the time to comment. I’ve seen you on other blogs and seen some of the comments from others you generate. You are welcome here, though I may disagree with some of your views.

I understand what you’re saying but, on the other hand, I work from an age-old precept, and that is this: from a philosophical standpoint I tend to forecast future actions predicated upon past actions; in other words, history is the best predictor of the future. Given that, the Obama campaign has showed me things that I wholehearted can place into certain categories, such as: “We’ll see this tactic again.”

Further, when Pelosi, Reid, Shumer et al come out and, clear channel, SAY they’re going to reinstitute the so-called “Fairness Doctrine” well, I take that to be what is termed an Obvious Clue.

Anonymous: the Right IS in trouble; the problem is, the Right will be in just the same trouble as the rest of the nation.

  11. Anon, this wasn’t about policies. If the right’s policies were totally rejected, the gay marriage bans wouldn’t have passed. This election was about “change”, but people aren’t going to get the kind of change they wanted.

In a year or two, the Bush years will be remembered as “The Good Ol’ Days.”
