Emotional Cheese

In a recent New York Times opinion piece by Judith Warner on February 5th, she wrote that:

Many women — not too surprisingly — were dreaming about sex with the president (Obama).

Wonderful. Just wonderful. But this is not surprising.

Clinton and Obama are of a bit of the same cloth with regard to women (Conservative women, avert your eyes and dismiss one word, at this point — I make it only for emphasis).

Clinton already said he was our first black president in an attempt to garner alleged minority votes. And all womyn’s groups refused to repudiate Mr Clinton or his predatory ways during his administration. It was just fine that he was and always has been on the prowl for pussy other than his wife’s.

Not to worry. Women carried this immature adorative trait over from Clinton and applied it to Obama. That is to say, Venus vs. Mars.

It isn’t about solutions to problems; it’s just about if you’re good looking, have charisma, and pretend like you’re actually listening — though you really aren’t.

Yes, apparently the bulk of American women are this shallow. Mr Obama is, after all, occupying the White House. At least Mr Obama isn’t as craven and callow. Yet.

Further: Today, Mr Obama took his “stimulus package” bleat to the road and “happened” to land in Elkhart, Indiana on Monday, February 9th, in hopes of appealing to the most base of our emotions. Not logic. No. E-mo-tions.

This is national manipulation of an extent to make Josef Goebbels sublimely proud.

Mr Obama’s plea consisted of: “Yes, we know you’re hurting. O, how I can sympathize. Therefore you need more cheese. And not just regular cheese. Free cheese. Paid for by — well, it won’t be you and, after all, the source isn’t important. It’s just important that I look good for the womyn, I listen to you and nod my head regally at the important parts.”

From Mr Barone:

Barack Obama is speaking today in Elkhart, Indiana, which had very high unemployment (15.3 percent) in December, a record. But why does Elkhart have such exceptionally high unemployment? The answer is that it is, as a promotional website tells us, “The RV Capital of the World.” RV sales are down this year, and I don’t suppose they’ll be helped by the cap-and-trade system that Obama and most Democrats want to impose on our economy. Yes, Elkhart County trended hugely to Obama. George W. Bush carried it 70 percent to 29 percent in 2004, and, Obama lost it by only 55 percent to 44 percent in 2008. Obama made those gains because of what people in Elkhart County thought George Bush failed to deliver. Now Obama must deliver himself.

Mr Obama, I submit, appeals only to the most shallow and base in us all.

Shame on the politicians. Yes.

But shame on the electorate for buying into this bullshit. Shame on the young. Shame on women. Shame on your stupidity, ignorance, naivete.
We the Sheeple. We want our Free Cheese.

  1. Why should he appeal to logic ever?

It will crush him every time!

Remember that old early 70s poster.

If you can’t dazzle em with brilliance baffle them with b___s___.

  2. No Obama isn’t Mars, fine God of War…. he can’t reach those lofty standards.

I place im around Hermes level: swift of foot, lean, two-faced and a hermaphrodite.

That fits… Mars doesn’t… and Clinton, well, he embarassed everone, including himiself, thus he is the Titan Epimethius, the God of Afterthought.

Please, lets keep Mars at a high standard: Clinton and Obama just don’t meet it. Hell, neither of them can hold a candle to Diana and she is tops in my books (she shares that top place with Athena)… which is why I like Sarah Palin: the huntress. Folks have just gotta get Godly personalities straight, really… neither Obama nor Clinton can even get up to Loki levels of things. Palin is much closer to that (but lacking the fine art of Athena at war) than either of these two are.

  3. *sigh*
Okay, here’s one perspective of a woman who gave Clinton a pass on his bad behavior. Until he used the Oval Office for one of his liaisons, I wasn’t willing to listen to a bunch of dirty gossip about him. Once he lied to the American public blatantly, seeming to go on the assumption that we were so stupid we would “go along” with it, I could never listen to him again. NONE of my votes for him were because I wanted to sleep with the man. Usually it was because the alternative was worse in my eyes. Hey, I was young, a bleeding heart liberal and I still had hope for a better government.
Obama angered me because I wanted so badly to believe his message of “hope” and yet, he showed that his intentions were business as usual. I resented the manipulation, the heartfelt speeches that meant nothing.
Frankly, I have yet to vote based on my nether parts. It is interesting that this is a topic. For example, do they discuss how men in Alaska MUST have voted in Palin because she’s hot? They probably do. Heaven forbid we attribute any thinking to our voting system.
To be crude, let me say “fuckability” has never been one of the criteria I have for voting. Just sayin’.

  4. Jennifer: and for YOU, that’s absolutely EXCELLENT. You parted the clouds and you did it yourself. But I cannot tell you how, time and again, I’ve listened to younger people bleed about Obama and, moreover, women, adult, educated women — one of their first descriptors of Obama isn’t his philosophy, isn’t his hard work, it’s “he’s a hardbody” (actually, not so much), he’s good looking, he speaks well. When directly asked of his philosophy, no one can tag it.

Interesting you brought up Palin. Yes, she’s the GOP Hot Chick. But the reason I extolled her rise is that she was everything in PHILOSOPHY that the surrounding GOP Big Dogs were NOT. She had guts. She had stands. Unfortunately she was held in check by McCain. It wasn’t McCain who raised the campaign at the time, it was Palin. I didn’t hear McCAIN talking about the First and Second Amendments. I didn’t hear McCAIN speaking about illegal immigration. I DIDN’T hear McCain taking ANY kind of real Conservative line.

America is JUST now starting to realize what it might have done and, truly, the bulk of the populace still don’t understand the scope of their actions electing Mr Obama.

Bottom line, as you write: “fuckability” as an attribute? Yes. Clinton had it and, as I can hear all about me, Obama has it too. Listen to the media DESCRIBE Obama.

  5. we need to invent a new word….
SHAME is much to sweet and friendly for the horrible thing THIS guy’s doing to us.
As I said on my site..we’ll need the STD money in the stimulus package because he sure is “DOING” us. sorry, but……….boy, how mad can we GET and STILL not DO SOMETHING?

    Wake UP, America!!

  6. The closest thing to a sex idol that EVER won, or ran for, the Presidency was JFK. I remember back then, EVERY girl and woman drooled just at the thought of him. Uttering his name got the female eyes rolling and their bodies twitching. It was absolutely disgusting and was definitely worse than Clinton or NObama by a long shot. Those old enough to remember will colaborate this. What a sick, perverted reason to vote for someone.
