Expect LNG Prices To Rise

Wonderful. And just in time for Winter:

VERACRUZ, Mexico — Six explosions believed to be the work ofsaboteurs ripped apart natural gas pipelines for Mexico’s state oil monopoly early Monday, sparking fires and prompting authorities to evacuate thousands of people and shut down two highways.

Ah yes, another reason to embrace illegal immigrants; we certainly need to import their terrorist coneheads as well:
Mexico is a major oil producer and exporter, with oil and related taxes accounting for over a third of the federal government’s revenue. The U.S. imported 12.7 million cubic feet of natural gas from Mexico in 2006, about 0.3 percent of total imports that year.
Natural gas futures rose 5.5 cents to $5.56 per 1,000 cubic feet in late morning trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange after initially rising more than 20 cents on news of the explosions. Mexico’s stocks opened lower amid the reports of sabotage.

Perfect timing assholes, I need to fill my 500 gallon tank for the impending Winter.

  1. Mexico does give us free gas, have you eaten at a Del Taco lately?

You get all Americans to eat at a Del Taco once a week and we’ll have free gas the entire country forever.

  2. As everyone pays attention to the Islamic brand of terrorism, the others get away with murder. While the Communist/Left terror groups are more towards property and infrastructure, they have also increased their lethality over time. We forget that these organizations that operate outside of Iraq and Afghanistan have been committing their own crimes, bombings, killing sprees…

All of these groups are far more dangerous now than they were 30 years ago. But we only focus on the Islamic sort, forgetting the crimes committed against the US by the others… this one in Mexico is ‘just another terror group’ to most of us… yet, they now look towards petroleum infrastructure. Perhaps they would like to get the Mexican customers intimidated. There is a close one right over the border: us.

Can we get someone who can actually stand up for the security of this Nation, please? Or have we elected to office those that prefer to see the Nation unsecured, vulnerable and, in the end, constantly attacked over doing such simple things as securing the border?

Live near any petroleum facilities within a days drive of the Mexican border?

Doesn’t take a Muslim to blow things up… the Communists seem to do just fine as well as separatists and nationalist groups. Be hell to be worried about al Qaeda and have this ‘Revolutionary’ group take out a refinery or three… might remind us there are other forms of terrorist around that don’t like us over much.
