I’d wager this dog is “under observation” at the local pound; I’d also wager the neighbor owning the dog had best prepare to be sued.
Still, an absolutely amazing cat, it being only a fraction of the size of the dog.

Cats are very territorial — and often protective if “their person” is sick or under attack. Obviously, the boy is that cat’s “person.”
I do have a question, however. How was this filmed and the person manning the camera just stood by?

I am guessing the neighborhood has had lot of break-ins,
Therefore security cameras.
Those house garages are literally on the street.
Accidentally leave the garage door up, and you get robbed for sure.
