Gov Schwarzenegger’s Fornicalia Budget Proposal: Eliminate ALL Welfare

Gov Schwarzenegger just got medieval on Fornicalia. Part of his budget solution is to eliminate all of Fornicalia’s welfare — not just part of it. All of it.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger asked lawmakers Friday to eliminate the state’s welfare program starting in October and dramatically scale back in-home care for elderly and disabled as part of his May budget revision to close a $19.1 billion deficit.

Gov Schwarzenegger also promised to not raise taxes. The protests started immediately.

Torches and pitchforks are next.

How far will the Entitlement Crowd go for its Free Cheese?

  1. Arnie may wake up with his neck in a noose before it’s over…

The lame-assed left won’t take this calmly, they are entitled by God, ENTITLED I tell you!

  2. What is to become of the real mooches, the ones that set up companies to provide these services, then jack up costs to the stratosphere?

They were giving away free cheese?

Dang. Wish I would have known that. I love quesadillas.

  3. BZ,
All the way to destroying this country. Greece is a proving ground of the lengths to which the socialist/communist/leftist crowd believes in its entitlements. The government only exists to provide for everyone under its aegis. That’s the world today.

  4. Welfare was intended as help for Widows and Orphans.

In this time of massive unemployment, it is useful help to families that cannot buy food.

It is helpful to those people that would die without medical assistence.

I know Governor Schwarzenegger is not cutting Welfare in California as an act of evil. I believe he is taking the action to try and get back to zero that much of the stealing and profiteering can be cut back.

Greece is fighting to keep the International Monetary Fund from ruining their country.

“I sincerely believe… that banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies, and that the principle of spending money to be paid by posterity under the name of funding is but swindling futurity on a large scale.” –Thomas Jefferson to John Taylor, 1816. ME 15:23

    More dangerous than standing armies.

  5. Gonna get real ugly around here…BUT Arnie’s right, cuts need to happen ASAP.. Fact is they wont cut anything! The legislators will kill all cuts and by the time this over there will be more taxes and more spending rather than a cut of any of the democrat voters needs…HANDOUTS!

  6. No more ‘entitlements’.

    Soon lacking in electricity.

    Then in water.

After that comes the starving masses who finally realize they have been lied to for decades. Things will get ugly and fiscal sanity requires chopping off everything but essential services… which does not include huge, unaccountable public unions. You do not need a union if you work for the public because you work not for a company but all of your fellow citizens.

    Good-bye, Arnie.

You will not be back in politics after this.
