“It’s To Hurt Our President, And To Change Our Congress”

Uh: yes.

Here’s a bitty clue, Senator Boxer — and for all the other Demorats charging “conspiracy, conspiracy!”

The Republicans could no more organize much of anything these days than the Man In The Moon (two Republicans can keep a secret if one is dead). These “protests” are from Conservatives, people in the middle class and “moderates” as well — people who have the temerity to actually question the actions of DC. And the Demorat DC Power Structure can’t tolerate dissension.

It’s just peachy-nifty when Leftists protest; it’s outright treasonous and despicable when anyone else protests.

Washington, you are so about to be shocked even further. . .

  1. BZ…you don’t really expect me to watch BARBARA BOXER, do you? I just CAN’T..don’t make me!
Hey, BZ…you got that DNC new ad telling America that the townhall protesters are angry mobs financed by the RNC and lobbyists? I’m looking for it.
And, you’re right…people ARE waking up!

  2. Dick Armey’s lobbying group has actually taken credit for organizing the protests. They’ve been bragging about this accomplishment to draw more funding in.

No question that there are real, angry conservatives showing up at these town hall meetings, but they are being organized and provided with a playbook by lobbying groups funded with lots of money from the health care industry.

This is astroturf all the way.

  3. Dear me!

People speaking up about what their representatives are doing is ‘astroturf’!

Can we get that for MoveOn, Code Pink, and the plethora of anti-war protest groups? Those top-down organizations really did a swell job of astroturfing events… that not many folks paid attention to. Or is the Left so wedded to ‘organizers’ that it can now say that EVERYTHING is ‘astroturfed’ because it doesn’t know what actual citizen-based organization looks like?

First it was Rush. Then O’Reilly. Then Fox. Then the RNC. Then Beck. Now Dick Armey and EVIL insurance companies.

Even if it is ‘astroturf’: where are the SUPPORTERS of this stuff? Outside of Congress, that is? Where are those who won’t read off the latest talking points from Obama and Emmanuel? I hear lots of parrots using those talking points… smells like green plastic on the ground to me…

And when I look at the variety and depth of protesting on spending, taxes, health care, cap’n’trade and the entire high cost agenda being proposed… I have a hard time finding the exact, same point from all of them, and yet the general direction is clear and requires no outside guidance. Those with an R after their name have been disdained as well as those with a D. There is a culture of incest Upon the Hill in the Emirate of Incumbistan, with the aristocracy feeling they know ever so much better what needs to be represented…and not representing anyone but themselves. Those in the House and Senate have much more in common with each other than those they represent.

I can’t find a George Soros paying for these groups. Especially the ones asking for local donations and help to get organized. No money bags stepping in for a ‘social cause’. No plethora of paper-groups to hire agitators who can be traced back to a few puppet masters who all sing from the same hymnal. Dick Armey has been attacked in other areas, especially economic ones… and if I am to worry about his connections then what about those in power with connections to the SEIU, Acorn (now moving to be the new COMO-INTERN, how appropriate), and host of other well connected, well-off individuals looking to make lots of money from ‘public’ anything. Including bailouts, as Jeff Immelt was able to get billions for his cash strapped venture…and control a news outlet, to boot. Where is the Left on corporations that control those media outlets? Snoozing, apparently.

As to Armey taking credit: I’ve seen many who want to ride on coat-tails take credit for things they haven’t done. That does not make them organizers, but opportunists, and they are across the spectrum. There is a difference between saying you do something and doing it: between helping to organize and taking credit for organizing. Strange to say that if they are ‘organizing’ they aren’t doing a good job of it as there is very little of a common script to any event… showing up at town halls, showing up at the local offices of Senators and Representatives, showing up to have a gathering with BBQ and a few speakers… they don’t even wear some similar color or draw from one faction or region or ethnic group… no, the push is general in society.

Meanwhile 45 ACP is staying in stock from some of my favorite resellers. I’ll see what the temperature of America is like in the next week or two… if this stuff goes off the shelves… well… good luck on that ‘organizer’ thingy. Americans prefer to self-organize. MLK didn’t need thugs and parrots to speak for him, and he spoke for millions of all colors. He spoke what needed to be spoken, but the organization started long before he arrived.

  4. Well, I just wanna know where my check is?

Actually, methinks they doth project too much.

Funny that the side that originated astroturfing is accusing the American public at large of being one big astroturf group!

  5. Z: angry mobs, yes, but WELL DRESSED angry mobs.

AJ: you stole the words from my very mouth with regards to Astroturf — I suppose it’s ‘turf depending on which side of the issue you’re on, eh?

    Cary: ain’t it true?

  6. As usual, Libturd Guy is full of LIB Turds…

No one is being paid here you idiot, that is an ACORN move, one that YOUR buddies employ, scrape up some drunks and druggies, give em a fix and $5, promise more if they do it right…

Fucknozzles get run off from Jenn’s site and land here because they are tolerated… How quaint…

  7. I’m an angry mob of one & I dress OK, but I refuse to wear a tie unless absolutely necessary.

Remember a Presidential candidate who is now the Secretary of State saying, “We need to stand up and say we’re Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration.” That is exactly what we are doing!

The Lefties need to quit drinking the Kool-Aide…

Cornyn believes that the “fear” and “anger” of Americans will be an advantage for Republicans in the 2010 elections: “Fear, I would say, precedes anger, and I think there are a lot of people who tell me they are scared of what they see coming out of Washington in terms of spending and the debt and muscular federal intervention on everything from financial institutions to healthcare,” Cornyn said. “It’s almost like a part of the grieving process.” […]

GRASSLEY: In countries that have government-run health care, just to give you an example, I’ve been told that the brain tumor that Sen. Kennedy has — because he’s 77 years old — would not be treated the way it’s treated in the United States. In other words, he would not get the care he gets here because of his age. In other words, they’d say ‘well he doesn’t have long to live even if he lived another four to five years.’ They’d say ‘well, we gotta spend money on people who can contribute more to economy.’ It’s a little like people saying when somebody gets to be 85 their life is worth less than when they were 35 and you pull the tubes on them

  9. And I am not about to tell the doofus Anonymous how to write code that works and doesn’t make him look any more stupid than he already is…

BZ, I know, you’re one of the most tolerant and fair people I have ever seen on the ‘net.. But doesn’t the temptation every cross your mind to click that edit button and to NOT allow anonymous assholes like LibTurd Gay to comment here? Uh, Guy, not GAY…

And that, LibTurd Gay, uh, damn, GUY, is how you format code for emphasis…

  10. Amazing that Leftists come here to complain about how those on the Right don’t go beyond ‘vanity press’ reading and then cites articles from exactly two sites.

    Such ‘diversity’!

When I was doing my Red Mafia articles I had to put in citations to a wide range of sources from the NYT (of old) to the Independent to Pravda (yes! that Pravda) to petroleum industry sites to mining industry sites… yeah, I know what criminal influence is in politics and I can trace out the web between John McCain to Barack Obama simply: Oleg Deripaska to Marc Rich to Nadhmi Auchi. With a good chance of being able to eliminate Rich on the connectivity, given Auchi’s involvement with Totalfinaelf/Acquitaine and its ties to Yukos.

When will the Left look at the corrupt money flowing from criminal organizations into the very top of the D party? It worries me deeply that I can trace that to people at or near the top in BOTH parties. The shrill Left loves to scream about how they are maligned, but they never, not once, look at the bloody fingerprints on the money they spend and the corruption that money brings directly to their agenda. Mind you I don’t like that in the R party, either, but the D party seems far more ready to jump into bed with killers, extortionists, and swindlers than the R party members are… but they are not exempt, they just don’t do it as much… neither is good at all.

When the Left can finally, once and for all, stop playing its victim card and start seeing the red hands on it that hands it to them, then I might take them seriously.

Until then the bloody strings attached to the ‘good things’ they want to do go unnoticed as they yell and scream. They don’t mind being manipulated all that much, and have lost all shame about how red and bloody their benefactors are. I do not like transnational organized crime and the way it has seeped into the halls of Congress and the tops of the two parties. Until the oh-so-well-read Left can bother itself to look BEYOND petty politics, I cannot take them seriously as they are willingly manipulated to become as uncivilized as their backers.

Read up on the organized crime groups and their connections to terrorism, narcotics groups, and such lovely things as white slavery. Then tell me just how pure you are to follow those who take their money. I detest that in both parties and do not trust those who do those things regardless of party or ideology. When will the Liberals stand for principle? Any principle? And say something like: ‘no, taking money from hardened killers and those in the real slave trade is not good’? Because the moment you do THAT you can no longer look at the heads of the D party for leadership… or the R party, either.

Take a real stand for freedom and liberty and hit hard against those who seek to undermine it in the halls of power, those who have been corrupted by killers.

    Or go to hell.

Because that latter is where we are headed without the former.
