Knives Infinity

As a person who is armed wherever I go (usually my personal Sig Sauer P239), I am known to pack heat and a knife.

The knives I carry can range from my ridiculous 17″ Condor Jungle Bowie in custom nylon neck/back sheath (concealed, can be pulled from behind the neck), to a Spyderco Police or my first utility knife, a Spyderco Delica.

If you’re like me and enjoy carrying a knife because they can also be an amazingly-convenient tool (always nice to have one when you want one!), I would refer you to Kris Anderson’s brand new internet site, Knives Infinity. Kris just started his own online knife business and, as you already know, starting a new business is not only tough in and of itself but, during these hard times, doubly difficult.

A check of his clean, professional, easily-navigable website reveals that he sells Benchmade, Buck, Kershaw, Spyderco, Boker, Gerber and many other knives. You can get multi-tools (love my Leatherman), axes, sharpeners, machetes, saws, shovels and other accessories. Too much stuff to list here!

    Ranando: I carry the P239 that my wife bought me in 2005. It is the single-stack 9mm version. Small, concealable, not whippy on the wrist. Very reliable.

    On duty, my department mandates the Sig and I otherwise carry my full-framed 15-round double-stack P226 stainless. Much larger, 9mm.

    I was an advocate of .40 cal until, at my advanced age, I finally realized my groupings were better with a 9mm.

    It’s all about round placement, IMHO as my department’s former Rangemaster.

  4. Sure is fun when you can group max loaded .45acp 230gr HP’s as well as you ever did any other round of years past…

    Tune up BZ, get on the range with the heavier caliber… That .40 is a hell of a lot better round than the 9mm… Placement or not…

    Advanced age is NO excuse, hell, I’m old too, and have had heart surgery twice, the only thing I would back off from shooting now would be a .44 Mag or that Godawful new S&W 500 and the .50 Desert Eagle…

    9mm’s are great if you’re running whores in the Caddy on Saturday night… LMAO

That was a good line, Fred, but I like the concealability of the 239 off duty, and I don’t push a squad car or a detective’s desk around anymore, I’m in the training division, so I’m not “in the street.” If I were, I’d be carrying my older Sig P220 .45 cal with Euro release again. My old favorite.

  6. Well BZ I did it….

    This afternoon I brought the P239 SAS .40S&W. Paid just over $1,000.00.

    They has this there for me to hold and fell and it felt good and they sold me on the .40S&W, hope they’re right.

    I have my CCW but I never carry a gun unless we go on a long drive or a trip somewhere in California.

    That said, I just like to collect guns. God knows I have enough of them.

  8. Ranando: Sig is a strange company, but they make nice weapons. They’re strange if you’re a Sig Armorer like I am, and they change a part but don’t TELL you about it.

    Heavy sigh. Reliable guns, though.

  9. Hey BZ, it is my pleasure, & honor to visit your site! I must say, I miss your other pic, I suppose that was a pic of yourself. But, I’ll just pretend the new one is a Cincinnati Bengal!

    I sure do miss the days when I had the time to buy & trade guns. That was a real enjoyemnt for me. (Another heavy sigh!!)
