Newt Gingrich: Kicked CNN John King’s Ass in the SC Debate

And it, oddly enough, was somewhat difficult to find and isolate on the internet after it occurred.

Imagine that.

The reference via CNN:

To take an ex-wife and make it two days before the primary a significant question in a presidential campaign is as close to despicable as anything I can imagine,” Gingrich told CNN Chief National Correspondent John King, the moderator of the CNN-Southern Republican debate.

Good for Gingrich, is all I can say. In his further comments, which are not yet transcripted, he took King to the damned woodshed. As well he should.

  1. Okay BZ this might end up a bit long..

Newt is the adult in the room when you put them on stage. The only weakness Newt has is in his vulnerability to his past mistakes. When you DO A LOT of things, some will piss people off. He has a good record of DOING things in congress when he was speaker. He also did somethings that pissed a lot of us off.

He wrote several books and in them made some statements that will be pulled out and dissected in the media and left wing sites.

He’s been a terrible husband, a cheater and a liar.

He sat on a couch with Pelosi… ewe.

He’s answered for ALL of that many times over and he;s asked forgiveness for most of it. Okay with me.

Now the question becomes can we trust him if we gave him the reigns to:
    1. Reverse course.
    2. At least STOP the destruction.
    3. work with congress to affect this reversal or stoppage
    4. Not be skirt chasin..
    5. Not screw us with some amnesty or climatechange BS.

I’m willing to take a chance just to see him vs Obama on stage just once… That could be epic.

Now lets look at the other highlight of the night RON PAUL… He made the highlight reel by being Ron Paul… Ramblin, looking back and informing us stuff was done wrong.

Paul made this statement about SOPA: (Paraphrasing)
“I voted with Democrats against this bill and as you have to do gain consensus no matter the party for a bill” Good move, you voted RIGHT on this one too.. BUT:
Tell me when Ron has ever “Got consensus” and pushed forward HIS vision of what should be done. In 30 years 1 piece of legislation…. Kind of odd that he would make that statement.

To me Ron Paul should be a Democrat on MOST things. He’s dead nuts right on several issues but his “Righteousness” is all about looking back and pointing out the errors. His answers are all about the wrongs of the past and you ask him how he’d proceed forward and he gets tongue tied.

  2. Huzzah!!! Newt.
You did some real good ass kicking there, and everyone in the audience and the TV viewers knew it.

OBAKA will be shitting on his muslim nighttime robe and sandals thinking about debating him.

I’ll back Newt only if he picks a tea party type Vice-President to run with him.
When OBAKA gets the boot, the Democraps will be so mad that assassination will be the foremost thing on their minds!!!

  3. Liberalmann: you read my blog, so apparently you must be “no one.” ARF!

Bush: you point out something that I’ve not yet seen anyone else write: in his 30+ years “serving,” he has managed to write ONE piece of legislation.

For what he’s being paid and for his perks and benefits, that’s not what you’d call “admirable productivity.”

BTW, anyone see the media bleed all over itself for the “heinous” treatment it received at the hands of Mr Gingrich? They are beside themselves with anguish.
