I’m just a Black and Blue Division, Rust Belt Kinda Guy.
If I couldn’t have the Packers, then I wanted the Steelers.
And the Steelers KATN’d the Seahawks though, a time or two, I had my concerns.
But the better team won.
Low scoring but still (at least for me) exciting, I was happy to see my “second” team win.
Not to say the Seahawks were bad; they weren’t.
And if The Bus retires, I can’t think of a better way to exit!
This was one of those games where the losing team should have won but didn’t. I rooted for the Steelers. Although I would have preferred the Bears… the Packers. Hahahaha.
The refs made a couple of bad calls and the Seahawks didn’t execute well to get better field position for easier field goals. That’s 6 points they gave up and 7 seven that was taken away. There’s your game. Better luck next year.
Actually, you’re quite right, as with any big game — heck, any game. Luck, the roll of the dice, calls good or bad, execution, turnovers, capitalization on turnovers — after that one interception I thought the Seahawks would walk away. They failed to do so.
I’ll admit, I’ve wanted to see Cowher win the Super Bowl for a long time.
