Pity The Poor Islamists

Pity the poor Islamists; specifically Hamas in the Gaza Strip.

They will have ended up enabling the reincarnation of Benjamin Netanyahu, a much harder-right figure than Tzipi Livni. Israel elects their new Prime Minister on February 10th, next Tuesday.

They had a chance, long ago, to stop but insisted on breaking, essentially, every cease fire extant.

Therefore, if Netanyahu is unleashed, only one entity will be responsible for whatever result occurs: Hamas. Lovingly embraced by the “peoples” of Gaza.

Benjamin Netanyahu is a “hardliner” on Hamas to the point that Israel Labor MK Ophir Paz-Pines said “The election of Netanyahu as prime minister is likely to lead to unending conflict between him and the Obama administration and risk Israel’s most important strategic asset – ties with the US.”

Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday promised that a government under his leadership would topple the Hamas regime in the Gaza Strip.

Bibi will have opposition, as indicated above. One in opposition will continue to be former president Jimmy Carter, who was interviewed on the Michael Medved show last Friday, January 30th. This is the same James Earl Carter who, in his newest book (the title of which I shall not promote here) wrote, regarding his beloved Hamas:

We pursued the concept of non-violent resistance of Hamas leaders and gave them documentation and video presentations of the successful experiences of Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. Martin Luther King, and others.”

Can you believe the incredible naivete — not to mention outright stupidity — of that statement? During the Medved interview, Michael started with the following question and acquired Carter’s madcap response:

MM: My question is, why then do you have more confidence in agreements with Hamas, given the fact that, by any standard, Hamas is more openly anti-Semitic, more openly violent and less responsible than the Nazis appeared to be in 1938?

Carter: Well, I don’t agree with that premise. Do I have to agree with the premise to answer the question?

Do you understand that Carter believes Hamas is a more reliable entity with regard to negotiations than the Nazis — an organized, obvious, uniformed self-interested entity? As opposed, say, to the Islamist Cult of Death embodied by Hamas — the persons hiding behind skirts of women and the blankets of babies, purposely dressed in civilian garb and completely indifferent to the ancillary deaths of their so-called fellow countrymen -and women.

Further, biblical scholars, were you aware of this passage from the Holy Bible, pronounced by Carter in the same interview:

Carter:–If you want to talk about ancient history, Christians believe that in the second coming, Christ can’t come back to the Holy Land until all Jews are either dead or become Christian.

I should like to leave you now with a reference to a Wall Street Journal article written by Judea Pearl, the father of slaughtered WSJ journalist Daniel Pearl, entitled “The Normalization of Evil.”

In this article Mr Pearl asks:

Would Danny have believed that today’s world emerged after his tragedy?

Neither he, nor the millions who were shocked by his murder, could have possibly predicted that seven years later his abductor, Omar Saeed Sheikh, according to several South Asian reports, would be planning terror acts from the safety of a Pakistani jail. Or that his murderer, Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, now in Guantanamo, would proudly boast of his murder in a military tribunal in March 2007 to the cheers of sympathetic jihadi supporters. Or that this ideology of barbarism would be celebrated in European and American universities, fueling rally after rally for Hamas, Hezbollah and other heroes of “the resistance.” Or that another kidnapped young man, Israeli Gilad Shalit, would spend his 950th day of captivity with no Red Cross visitation while world leaders seriously debate whether his kidnappers deserve international recognition.

Please read Mr Pearl’s complete article.

Islamists exist within no civilization save the Cult of Death. And they deserve no negotiations. They simply deserve to be culled.

  1. Geez – where to start?

First, while Netenyahu and Obama may not see eye to eye, there’s a whole lot of real people here in the US of A that will be cheering him on and holding him up in prayer as he defends the Jewish nation against the attacks.

Carter is beyond stupid – he is so misled with his own lack of information it would be funny if he didn’t have such easy access to the media.

The insight of Mr. Pearl will be forgotten, since it embodies some common sense and wisdom gained the hard way.

  2. Culled, I like that word. It fits just right!

Jimmy Carter is the biggest freakin DOLT we have ever had invade the White House. I fear I may have to update that statement once NObama has had a longer trial. I hope somehow someone force-feeds him a wisdom pill real soon, but I doubt it.

  3. Debbie said…
Obama is the new Carter, but much worse.
    ***************
Obama is going to make Carter look good, hell, he’s already make Bush look a lot better, and that’s just the first 2 weeks…

    What does the future offer??

  4. Carter is still so bitter about losing in 80 that he has never forgiven America. He has betrayed the faith he once valued on a quest of personal revenge on a nation that rejected.

  5. You would think that the “peanut brained” would be pissed off about the number of times terrorists have lied to him and made him a FOOL.
