S.O.S. Clinton Is Correct

She says:

While one of the White House’s top national security advisers criticized lawmakers for politicizing national security threats, including the Christmas Day attack over Detroit, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton said even a nuclear-armed North Korea or Iran isn’t as great a threat to the U.S. as al Qaeda and allied jihad groups.

“The biggest nightmare that any of us have is that one of these terrorist member organizations within this syndicate of terror will get their hands on a weapon of mass destruction,” she said in a Sunday appearance on CNN. “So that’s really the most threatening prospect we see.”

Director of National Intelligence Dennis C. Blair told Congress earlier this month he was “certain” there will be an attempted terrorist attack on the United States within the next six months.

I would have to concur. We’re in perfect shape for it — or, I should say, perfect disarray. A 9/11-like attack would set this nation back years, with this current administration in charge.
Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula number two Sufyan al-Azdi al-Shahri called for attacks against US interests “everywhere,” in an audio message released Monday.

“American and Crusader interests are everywhere and their agents are moving everywhere,” Shahri said. “Attack them and eliminate as many enemies as you can.”

This current administration is no more equipped to handle an event similar to 9/11 than it is to handle its own budget.
Stand by, people. The world sees our weakness.

  1. In years to come as more and more states acquire nuclear weapons we can very well expect to see that mushroom cloud over a great American city. I often here those that seek to minimize the threat from Iran or North Korea by saying it will take many years for them to develope a delivery system. They seem to forget the camel and the pickup truck and the cargo hold of a seagoing freighter. Hillary got one right. Attacks will come, and lets pray that the mushrooms don’t sprout over America!

  2. Hillary is, at least, a bit Old School. Comparitively speaking, her husband was a political genius and, in some cases, he really was. Mr Obama is predominantly a child in political comparison.

  3. And we have problems with Hezbollah cells forming up inside the US. al Qaeda has been seen in the Tri-Border areas of S. America and they helpfully left jackets from their Egyptian training days just north of the Rio Grande.

Such nice guys we let walk into the country.

Then there are the lovely and virulent Wahhabi off-shoots in Trinidad. Gotta love the inventive guy who wanted to hijack a LNG carrier and blow it up… in Hartford. You have to figure that has the energy of a small nuke and, if done right, the added lethality of a FAE bomb.

I’ve said it for years, the question is not ‘if’ but ‘when’. Yeah, I said that during the Bush years, too, because that Administration didn’t bother to take non-al Qaeda terrorism seriously. Or organized crime.

    We shall pay for that.

  4. I respectfully disagree with you here BZ, a 9-11 or worse attack NOW would NOT destroy us, it would destroy the liberal ideals.

Americans by nature (Or our everything NOW attitude) are shortsighted, and have short memories. After 9-11 this country was UNITED, and if not for some misguided decisions and a few powerful idiots our world would be much different.

I honestly believe a terrorist attack within the next couple of years will doom the libturd ideals for the next decade at least. IF we are struck prior to the next POTUS election, Obama is gone and along with him all of his lackies in Congress. At that point, it will be proven that treating these thugs like everyday criminals is DEAD WRONG and GWB was at least right on that point. Obama and his cronies have already moved us back to the pre-9-11 days, so its only a matter of time before the next strike.

Personally I don’t see the urgency for the terrorists, they should sit back and wait, Obama is doing more damage than they could with an atom bomb or two….
