NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A college student from New York is suing Stonehill College in Massachusetts, a Catholic Liberal Arts College, saying her roommate’s sex life drove her into a suicidal depression and that the school did nothing to address her concerns.

The student, Lindsay Blankmeyer, alleges that her roommate, “Laura,” was “having online and actual sex right in front of her,” according to the court complaint.
“More disturbingly, Laura would have sex with her boyfriend while Lindsay was trying to sleep just a few feet away. Laura would also engage in sexually inappropriate video chatting when Lindsay was in the room,” the complaint read.
I am shocked — shocked, I tell you — that college students have sex.
And in the dorms, no less!
Under the very noses of the hall monitors!
When I was in college, it was the sexual time of my life. I had women in every shape, size, weight, color and position — even my next door neighbor. I never had more “companions” than I did in college. I stayed overnight in the female dorms of two universities, one in Sacramento and another in Belmont, the San Francisco Bay Area.
I too visited the rooms of “all female” dorms so that my current flights and I could copulate to our hearts’ content, sometimes by ourselves, sometimes with the heavy sigh of another female roommate.
I swived females in their dorm rooms, the production room of one campus radio station, the control rooms of both campus radio stations, the studios of the largest station, the campus photo studio, the newspaper dark room, the back seat of a number of cars, several local apartments, and then back to dorm rooms.
It’s what you do when you’re in college. Get the hell over it. But, of course, as contrasted to THEN it’s all about the monetary BLING to acquire for a perceived “offense.” Now.
Further, unlike some destitute chicks who seem to decry the potential dearth of FREE birth control features at their local colleges, and DEMAND that MY tax dollars fund THEIR indiscretions to the tune of contraceptives and abortions —
I simply pulled out the Mark I, Model I CONDOM and used it when logical and applicable.
Imagine that. $10 for a few sealed packs as opposed to pills and dispensers and clinics and doctors and appointments and gynos and insurance and billings.
To this day, one primary reason I’m not called “DAD.”
Because I had common sense, logic, rationality, proportion.
Those women who swear the lack of FREE contraceptive access will somehow “bankrupt” them are full of shit.
As we all know anyway.
“Somehow,” women “back in the day” saw fit to manage their sex lives much more cheaply. Imagine that. What a concept.
Damn. College days. Makes me smile.
