You perchance could have said something akin to “longer sentences for crimes where a gun was used, tougher penalties for all crimes, greater training for CCW permits in concert with a greater number of CCW permits issued.”

You could have said, “you want to see how guns save lives?  Try reading every monthly issue of NRA’s “American Rifleman,” as you can see with your own eyes clearly documented events where owners of firearms have repelled attacks from criminals and/or saved themselves or family members.

But no.

You had to say, so that it gets blared into and onto every Leftist outlet across the US and the globe:
