The Demorats: Starting To Implode

You can only keep so much pressure on for so long a time.

Then you begin to implode. From The Hill:

Waters blames Rahm for recalcitrant Dems on healthcare
@ 1:44 pm by Michael O’Brien
The White House may only have one of its top officials to blame for its difficulty in passing healthcare, one liberal California Democrat asserted Tuesday.
Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) blamed now-White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel’s work as head of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), during which he worked to recruit many centrist candidates, resulting in landslide Democratic victories, for difficulties facing House leaders trying to pass reform legislation.
“That may be difficult for Rahm Emanuel, because remember, he recruited most of them,” Waters said during an interview on MSNBC when asked if the White House could lean on centrist, Blue Dog Democrats to pass reform legislation.
“Now the chickens have come home to roost,” she added.

I wouldn’t necessarily disagree. And it absolutely breaks my damned black little heart to read and hear of Demorats beginning to eat themselves.

Plus, uh, Our Hero continues to trend downwards. Imagine that. Go figure.

“Pluralities now say that the president’s health care plan is a bad idea, and that it will result in the quality of their care getting worse. What’s more, just four in 10 approve of his handling on the issue.”

Hand me my hankie, will you?

  1. If we can keep Obama from passing health care, cap and trade and immigration, then I’ll view his short presidency as the best thing that ever happened to conservatism.

We better be girding our loins for immigration.

  2. As long as the grass roots keep it going, we might just get out of this.

I am really hoping there will be a point of no return, where “The one” looses what ever credibility he has left.

Sadly, the sun still seems to be quit content to be relatively quiet. Near the beginning of the month there was a very reasonable sun spot, and flux levels to go along with that. But since all there has been is one or two plagues. The closest thing to a sunspot had the polarity of the previous cycle, not good.

Oh where am I going, well many parts of the world where late to plant this spring, due to the winter last year, I suspect, harvests around the northern hemisphere are going to be very disappointing, enough so, it might actually get press coverage, unlike the last two seasons. And of course, I suspect it is going to be another very cold winter. Again, tons of records to be broken, kinda like the month of July ….

At some point, enough people will be talking about the food and cold weather, the media will have to. I have to hope at some point the media will have to try to regain some of their credibility.

So all of this will hopefully put a few nails in Global Warming; and hopefully dismiss “The Gore”, and all of the blow-heart politicians.

With any luck, by February all of the dems the have constituencies that may actually pay attention will run away from anything out of Obama’s mouth.

    One can dream …..

Of course a terrorist attack or another financial meltdown could conspire to consume all the media and peoples attention. There is light at the end of the tunnel, I hope.
