The past few days have been a remarkable “target-rich environment” for news.
I almost don’t know where to start.
THE WRITING ON THE WALL:
I suppose the first place to start would be the recent primaries in which incumbents were mostly voted out. Arlen Specter, a man whom I quite frankly despised, is no longer a politician. His quivering, equivocating ass was voted out. There couldn’t be a better outcome. Specter was an “empty suited” political hack.
Blanche Lincoln, even if she wins, is in for a major fight.
Rand Paul, won.
The American People are tired of — even after only one year — whatever Mr Obaka seems to peddling.
Even where Demorats won, they won on the backs of their individual trends and beliefs, and NOT because they endorsed Mr Obaka. The farther from Mr Obaka they trended, the better their results.
FORNICALIA vs ARIZONA:
Many jurisdictions, in Fornicalia, have accused Arizona of racism in re its most recent law regarding illegal invaders.
Here is the actual 17-page bill in a PDF file. Please read it for yourself. Then draw your own conclusions.
AG Holder hasn’t read the law; Napolitano hasn’t read the law.
They are simply trotting out the Political Pablum demanded by Mr Obaka.
This is simply just beyond vacuous. I call it: Remarkable Ignorance transitioning into Willful Blindness.
CONSEQUENCES:
Arizona is finally reacting to the threats promised by any number of Fornicalia jurisdictions, agencies and governmental entities.
Los Angeles, for example, at the behest of Mexican Mayor Antonio Villaraigoso, determined to cut anything or anyone from Arizona off at the knees.
In between, AriZona Tea — manufactured in New York — suffered. Persons who wished to “boycott” items from Arizona were, in fact, that incredibly stupid.
In response to the Los Angeles and Fornicalia boycott, Arizona Commission Corporation Commissioner Gary Pierce sent this letter on May 18th:
Dear Mayor Villaraigosa,
I was dismayed to learn that the Los Angeles City Council voted to boycott Arizona and Arizona-based companies — a vote you strongly supported — to show opposition to SB 1070 (Support our Law Enforcement and Safe Neighborhoods Act).
You explained your support of the boycott as follows: “While we recognize that as neighbors, we share resources and ties with the State of Arizona that may be difficult to sever, our goal is not to hurt the local economy of Los Angeles, but to impact the economy of Arizona. Our intent is to use our dollars — or the withholding of our dollars — to send a message.” (emphasis added)
I received your message; please receive mine. As a state-wide elected member of the Arizona Corporation Commission overseeing Arizona’s electric and water utilities, I too am keenly aware of the “resources and ties” we share with the City of Los Angeles. In fact, approximately twenty-five percent of the electricity consumed in Los Angeles is generated by power plants in Arizona.
If an economic boycott is truly what you desire, I will be happy to encourage Arizona utilities to renegotiate your power agreements so Los Angeles no longer receives any power from Arizona-based generation. I am confident that Arizona’s utilities would be happy to take those electrons off your hands.
If, however, you find that the City Council lacks the strength of its convictions to turn off the lights in Los Angeles and boycott Arizona power, please reconsider the wisdom of attempting to harm Arizona’s economy.
People of goodwill can disagree over the merits of SB 1070. A state-wide economic boycott of Arizona is not a message sent in goodwill.
Sincerely,
Commissioner Gary Pierce
Again, I submit there are consequences to ones words and ones actions.
Arizona provides 25% of LA’s electricity.
Arizona also provides a major percentage of LA’s water via the Colorado River. That is why, for anyone who has taken a Hoover Dam tour, there is a constant presence of an LAWP truck or such at the site.
You want to actually go there, Los Angeles?
You’d best be prepared to rely upon — imagine that! — the federal government for help.
Arizona is about to cut your ass right off with a chainsaw.
As well it SHOULD.

Like the Master Card commercials, priceless!
Even where Demorats won, they won on the backs of their individual trends and beliefs, and NOT because they endorsed Mr Obaka. The farther from Mr Obaka they trended, the better their results.
Obaka has become political poison.

I found quite an interesting statement from U.S. Representative Gerry Connolly.
Love it!!!!
I only hope that this really happens, as I am sick and tired of the illegal aliens, aka “Latinos w/o papers”, crapping all over So California. In fact, all of California.
These illegals spread their filth wherever they live once they get into this country of OURS.
We have them here, and their culture of filth, parking on the lawns of houses they rent, crap and garbage everywhere, etc.
So, punish California for their stupid SEIU mayor of LA.
Whining Tony V has since come back with a “we won’t take threats” blathering statement, I found this:

I wish AZ would just flip the switch, but I know they “legally” can’t ….oh, wait, there’s that durn word again, “legal”.
sheesh….
Now, Austin, Texas, the Texas version of San Francisco, is calling for a boycott of Arizona too… MORONS in Austin…
I got this from the President of The Rowlett TEA Party:
Hi All:
You have probably heard the city of Austin has announced a boycott of all travel to Arizona. There have been a few organizations announcing a boycott of Austin businesses. I am aware the Burleson Tea Party and the Hood County Republican Party have both released an announcement.
Should we consider calling for a similar boycott?
To which I responded:
“Austin is the Texas version of San Francisco, I haven’t even driven through there in at least 8 years, I don’t spend ANY money there, never have, and I consider the boycott thing to be a symbolic gesture at best…
I believe we may be better served in an attempt to get the voters of Rowlett out and voting before we worry about a few dollars going to Austin…
You go to Austin a lot and spend a ton of money there?? Great… Boycott Austin…
If ya don’t go TO Austin, if you don’t spend money IN Austin, what is a boycott other than a symbolic, albeit useless gesture?
“Hi Rowlett, are you ready for a dream getaway? Vacation in beautiful Austin… “
I haven’t seen too many of those flyers on the doorknob…
The Rowlett TEA Party has a lot better things to do, in ROWLETT…
I guess the next time we hold The Rowlett TEA Party Convention, we should think about holding in, oh, I don’t know, maybe Rowlett?
I expect my position on this will have me recalled and removed from the board of directors…
TF: I’d have to agree; spend your time concentrating on what you can do at home to get the word out and to adhere to the belief systems that seem, slowly but surely, to be emerging in this country bit by bit, in a bit of defiance to what people see as held close by the current federal administration.

Hi Blo . . Perfect. Wish there was a way for Arizona to turn off the power to every illegal Californican that protests their effort to close and regulate the border. The incompetance in L.A. government is staggering . . but NOTHING can beat the morons in the Obama administration. It would be funny if it wasn’t so damn dangerous.
Bump
P.S. I got a message from our overly dramatic Drama Queen VP…
I don’t appreciate the sarcasm. Suzan
Yep, recall will happen soon, but then they’ll figure out that they don’t have the keys to the TEA Party blog page, the Facebook site, the LinkedIn group, the TEA Party email addresses and a few other things…
I guess it’s OK to be a smart-ass when you’re the Communications Director and 90% of the board agrees with you and knows you weren’t really being a smart-ass, hell, I was being me, brutally honest… No one ever told me that honest was considered to be sarcasm…
Some folks can’t handle the truth… LMAO
Oh HELL yes!!! 🙂 See if LA is ‘really’ willing to take those steps 🙂
Austin TX many, many years back meant something having the Capital there.
Today, well it has rapidly become a liberal HQ, almost totally against everything that Texas has stood for.
Maybe it is time to move the State Capital to another location?
BZ,
And that my friend is a well-placed kick to the crotch. How’s that feel LA?
TF: yeah, I could see where that could be a problem. For THEM.
LOT: in truth they know AZ won’t go there. But there MAY be some possibility that, whenever the contract expires — depending on how things go — some further renegotiation might be in order.
Hey, I don’t live in SoCal (sorry Bushwack!) so I couldn’t care less. I have my own personal water source.
BZ
Not just the electricity… one can live without it for a decent period of time.
The water that AZ exports to CA and especially Los Angeles? If you want to see the City of Los Angeles undergo an implosion of 20-30%, just shut off the AZ water that goes to it. THAT will shrink LA faster than loss of electricity.
Losing electricity is a nuisance and a PITA.
Losing water is losing life… and the West is built on water.
AJ: because the bulk of SoCal is, in fact, desert.
