Time To Negotiate

With terrorists. Says President Barack Hussein Obama.

For his first-ever televised interview, Mr. Obama decided he would grace Saudi-owned, Dubai-based Al-Arabiya news channel television with this honor. Did he then utilize this opportunity as a bully pulpit to point out the obvious: Iran’s misogynistic and homophobic death culture, their insane ways, their lies regarding history and Israel, their insistence on producing nuclear weapons in the most unstable cauldron in the world — absent Pakistan/India?

Uh, no.

Officials of Barack Obama‘s administration have drafted a letter to Iran from the president aimed at unfreezing US-Iranian relations and opening the way for face-to-face talks, the Guardian has learned.

Even before this letter has been sent, however, Iran fires back and sets their own mandates to be met:

Saeed Leylaz, a Tehran-based analyst, said a US letter would have to be accompanied by security guarantees and an agreement to drop economic sanctions. “If they send such a letter it will be a very significant step towards better ties, but they should be careful in not thinking Tehran will respond immediately,” he said.

Nothing like lending even more credence, veracity and acknowledgment to a terrorist political national power bent on eradicating Israel and every Western nation.

Excellent start, Mr. Obama. You’ll soon discover Iran will honor all agreements and only have your best interests at heart, cheerfully setting Islamism aside for the greater goal of peace.

  1. Oh.

    My.

    FREAKING.

    Gosh.

Of course, why are we surprised? TEH ONE said he would do this (meeting without preconditions) and the DEM gave him a free freakin’ pass!

Only 1,452 days before we are free of this obamanation…

  2. “Thug in chief.” Shoprat’s got it right!

I posted on this too earlier this week, BZ. 51% of the American people approve because 51% of the American people must still believe in the MSM. I don’t see how, but evidently they do, otherwise they wouldn’t have turned us into an Obamanation in the first place!

  3. Yes 51% of those who voted got this bozo… and only 51% voted. So about 25% of Americans actually are represented now.

    Lovely Nation we got here.

Be a shame to lose it to minority rule… oh, wait… we HAVE THAT now and have had it for some elections. Even the NSDAP was more representative than this, and that turned out not at all well.

  4. Yeah, it’s ALL the fault of the MSM and those shifty Dems. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with the FACT that the Repubs ran the most unelectable asshole they could, just short of Ron Paul that is…

Obama is a bozo, and Bozo, please forgive me, I always liked you, but Obama, and his policies are going to take us even further in the hole than those of George W. Bush have so far.

Obama has inherited a hell of a mess from Bush, and we ALL know that he won’t do anything to fix it, he can’t, he’s too engrossed in Democratic misdealings, loading his cabinet with *neverbeens* and tax cheats, and is looking for more ways to milk this nation dry.

But c’mon, admit it, Bush left more of a mess than ANYONE could fix in 4 or even 8 years. Obama is going to leave HIS successor an even bigger debacle to play with, if there’s a USA left when Obama is done…

  5. TF: it’s been progressively worse, and yes it’s about the debt. And yes the GOP has been historically complicit.

But unless we persevere, pointing out what needs to be done, we’ll lose perspective ourselves, Fred, and we — well, more specifically, I would apply this to the GOP — are dangerously close to this already.

  6. That friggin mental midget is insane if he actually believes the crap that spews forth from his pie hole is helping. There wasn’t any one running for President from either party that would be more dangerous to the best interests of America. It is going to be a LOOOOOOONG 4 years. Maybe he’ll screw things up so bad that even his own party will help us impeach him. We better get our shit together and elect some decent Congressmen in 2010!

  7. How many times in my life have I sit down with those I’ve disagreed with only to walk away with a better understanding of the situation, many and I’ve always been glad I did.

I believe strongly in talking through any situation with those you disagree with, that’s what I was taught as a child.

    I’m glad Reagan did it.

“Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer”. Sun-tzu, The Art of War.

Will it work, I have no idea but I know it can’t hurt.

  8. Sadly the uninformed masses, uneducated in any of the issues and caught up in the worship of the messiah, asked for this. Be careful what you wish for.

    Any idiot can vote.

  9. The GOP does have part of the blame to share in this, but at least they held firm in the house against the bailout bill, and hopefully they will do so in the Senate. Maybe they’re getting the message… finally.

  10. …. Well, we shall see what happens, I don’t have much faith in negotiations with a terrorist political nation, but somehow 51% of the people are fooled into believing this will work??

  11. And yet . . . this is what we have for four years. We didn’t vote for him but folks, it is time to move forward. What can we do as individuals to help America? We have become a media driven culture that was caught up in a rock star performance – personally I feel we are headed for a time when the political parties will be virtually identical. Our job as Americans is to find the good in today and tomorrow and help. BZ helps by keeping us informed and I thank him for that . . . . .
