UN Condemns Israel, US, for Not Sharing Iron Dome Missile System with Hamas

Iron Dome DefenseLeftists have always been about what’s “fair” and “equal,” except that little in Life is either fair or equal.  Additionally (and logically) “fair” and “equal” exists in the eyes of the beholder.

That in mind, let’s examine what the UN believes to be “fair.”  From FoxNews.com:

By Cheryl K. Chumley (Washington Times)

The United Nations slammed Israel for possibly committing war crimes in its fight against Hamas — and then backed that accusation by suggesting the Jewish nation ought to be sharing its Iron Dome defensive technology with the very terror group it’s fighting.

U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay said to members of the media at an “emergency” meeting of the U.N. Human Rights Council that Israel was falling short in its duty to protect citizens in the Gaza Strip from getting killed by its rockets.

Yes, that’s correct — the UN believes the same missile system the US provided to Israel for its defense should be equally provided to Hamas in Gaza.  See more here.

I have written this final paragraph three times, and what I had previously written wasn’t kind to either the UN or to Hamas.  However, I suspect you inherently know what I’d written but have now redacted for the sake of kindness and civility.  But in essence: can the UN be any more idiotic, useless and annoying?

P.S.

I still believe the UN, once kicked out of New York and with US funding stopped, would make a wonderful set of condos overlooking the river.

    • Welcome, Sabre22, thanks for visiting and thanks for taking the time to comment! I still think condos would be a marvelous idea. After all, the UN sits on extremely valuable property!

  1. I see. So, we should give the Russians (aka Soviets) our missile technology, our satellite technology, and our nuclear submarine technology, and give Al Qaida and the Taliban our technology and battlefield tactics so everything is fair, correct? We should just throw our hands in the air and say “why can’t we just get along?” Maybe we should have sent a letter to Hitler and told him what day and where the invasion would be? Or told Mao Tse Tung every time we maneuvered in southeast Asia? Maybe we shouldn’t train our military to be so effective, with the best equipment? How come we don’t just expect everyone to be nice? Why don’t we just roll over and expose our underbellies for a rub or something? When we think the UN has become as preposterous as possible, a little more eeks out…

    • uh .. no … Only the Jewish People have to do that … no other country will be ‘forced’ to share its work product with its enemies.

As M. Yourish would say “when is it Jewish Double Standard Time? on any day ending with a ‘Y'”.

      • Tuvea, thank you kindly for visiting, and taking the time to comment. I mean, really, wouldn’t everyone in the region be happy if Israel were just pushed into the Med? Oh yeah — perhaps except for the occupants of Israel.

  2. The UN is a joke. Any countries that do its bidding are comprised of fools. Time for the UN to go the way of the League of Nations.

  3. Aha! Obama believes that Africa should share it’s Ebola with America. After all, it’s only fair if they have it we have it, too. Kind of like Israel sharing Iron Dome with Hamas.
