If you are actually aware (and isn’t that the rub) you already recognize the peril that exists for the United States of America on domestic and foreign fronts.
That said — yet — Mr Obama takes time to golf this past weekend in Palm Springs, at Sunnylands.
Update (2:43 p.m.): Malia, the Obama’s 15-year-old daughter, joined her parents in the desert Friday evening after arriving in the area by car, a source with the White House said.
Update (2:40 p.m.): The president returned to Palm Springs shortly after 2 p.m. Unlike Friday evening, no local dignitaries greeted Obama at Palm Springs International Airport. He exited Air Force Once and quickly got into a black SUV. The motorcade then headed south out of the airport.
Update (2:06 p.m.): Air Force One landed at Palm Springs International Airport.

Whilst Rome burns within and without, Air Force One costs the American Taxpayer roughly $228,288 per hour to operate.
Whilst the world falls apart, the alleged “most powerful man in the world” spends profligately on himself for personal whims and entertainments. Bread and sweetmeats.
Weekend golf.
Sure.
Your tax dollars be damned.
That is certainly a priority over weekend events.

I was thinking how particularly interesting it is that the media never got a shot of his playing golf. Wouldn’t want the country to know WHERE HE WAS, huh?

Give him a break. He needs to find things he can do halfway well. Great at giving speeches and a fairly good golfer. Being President? He has people to do that.

Whoa WSF! Who says he is a fairly good golfer??? I don’t even practice and I will wager most of what I have that I can beat him. On top of that, I shoot right handed and I will be willing to bet I can shoot a better round of skeet left handed than he can.

Frankly, and, judging by the disgruntled (embarrassing?) look on his face…I don’t think he even gives a flying fuck what anyone thinks anymore! He’s been a lame duck since his reincarnation and whomever is pulling his strings probably doesn’t even WANT him around Washington these days so they can set the stage for more American collapse. Somebodies (plural) are making BILLIONS with all that is going on now……BZ…you nailed it with the border crossing issue….we have lost the war on protecting our borders and the flood of “undocumented” future American citizens likely include many associated with, guess who??? Yes, my friends, Al qaeda operatives who will now easily enter this country to further slaughter the lambs. We are screwed, blued and tattooed as “leadership” goes in this wonderful country of ours.
