This is such an incredible abortion and insult to history. America’s fighting soldiers are turning over in their graves in revulsion and despiction.
The LGBTQ crowd has no idea of the conditions and sacrifices our WWII warriors had to endure in order to enable that historic photograph.
Consenting adults with sexuality? No problem, head out.
As long as all consent and no one gets hurt.
But when you decide to arbitrarily rescind the true meaning of words, that’s where I have a massive problem.
You want civil unions? With all the concomitant benefits, the same as married people? Wonderful. I couldn’t care less.
But marriage still has a true meaning in language and that is this: one man, one woman.
Words have meanings.
The word “marriage” is for heterosexuals. LGBTQ, find your own applicable word(s). I suggest “civil unions” to start.

When I first saw that picture I was consumed with rage. To compare what is basically social angst with Marines taking Iwo Jima is revolting.
Agreed. The current generation has no concept whatsoever of work, true toil, actual sacrifice for something larger than themselves, under conditions that are barbaric, deadly, soul-testing and soul-stealing. What those soldiers did, how they managed to triumph, THAT is true courage.
The current generation — and Leftists — don’t value sacrifice or challenge. They think an operation that gives men breasts and robs them of their penis takes courage. They think a white woman who wants to be black takes courage. They wouldn’t know courage. They know victimhood, they seek to be a victim in some fashion, any fashion they can.
So sad.
And disgusting. All at once. As the top photograph illustrates so aptly.
