Hanging By a Thread?

Ooooopsie:

Health care reform is “hanging on by a thread,” and one or two votes could determine the outcome of the heavily-debated bill, Democratic Sen. Chris Dodd told CNBC Monday.
Give them a few more days. The Demorats will extort, threaten or purchase the necessary votes from clueless sycophants.

  1. What a great observation, ha! It will come down to one or two votes, hell everyone knows that Mr. Dobb, yep Mr. not senator, may as well get use to that. I do suspect that George Soros has a nice fat paying job waiting for you. But then you’ve been working for the likes of him for years anyway and certainly not the taxpayers.

If only American could peek behind those closed doors many heads would roll. But that will not happen and some will skate by this fall.

  2. sad, isn’t it……who knew there existed THIS much stupidity, this much dependence, this much indoctrination, this much lying, this much coercion and bribes.
Mr. Z used to say “America’s getting to be like a Third World Country with these lobbyists and corruption”…I used to argue with him.
    But, I’d stopped recently.

  3. Have you heard the latest ‘fair play’ tactic the Dems are considering? Massachuessts elects a replacement for Ted Kennedy in a few days but the Democrats in Washington are already talking about not seating the winner if it’s the Republican until after the health care vote.

    Fair play, indeed.

  4. Z: Look around. Really. Look around. Who, amongst your friends, your acquaintances, perhaps the people at work, your boss, the people you overhear in public — WHO amongst them is as EDUCATED and INFORMED about what is actually occurring in this country as YOU are??

NOW you can understand why things are unfolding as they are.

Shoprat: one thing you have to hand to the Demorats: they sink or swim together. I don’t think I’ve seen quite such a unified party in a long, long time. It may be their literal undoing but many simply don’t seem to care one whit.

cj: of COURSE! Because, after all, it would FUCK UP their majority RAMDOWN of ObamaKare! Can you send me a link on that baby, pretty please?

  5. Thankfully I can’t remember that name of the candidate, but I do remember the ad anointing him as the rightful heir to the Kennedy seat for the Massachusetts delegation to United States Senate. (insert profound dry heave emoticon here)

We certainly have reinstated blood line dynasties with the likes of Representative Doris Matsui, Mrs. Sonny Bono, Kennedy clan members, Cuomos, Rockefellers and I haven’t been to a search engine yet, but I am sure there is an anointing going on in Connecticut.

Soros probably has to take a number just to propose sock puppets. The real up side for us is that Progressive hate trumps plain old greed.

Never mind the splatter, I just don’t want any big chunks on me.

  6. Ben Nelson is rattling his cup again! Won’t vote ‘Yes’ without more payola. Bet he won’t be alone, either, rattling the cup in front of Reid.

Gotta love how that note Republican, Barack Obama, cut a deal with the Big Insurance companies to get their backing… yes all sorts of extra goodies for Big Insurance companies larded into the various bills swirling around. Bills written by noted Republicans Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Gotta love how those Republicans are bought and paid for by Big Insurance and Big Pharma…

    Oh…

    Wait…

So sorry, those folks putting the payoffs in for Big Insurance and Big Pharma are Democrats.

    Damn party-switchers.

Can’t trust a one of them.

    We need a new Congress.

  7. We had a guy that runs one of our local hospitals come and talk at our Republican meeting last night about the health care bills and what they mean. Its unbelievable!!

I still have hope that they won’t be able to reconcile the 2 bills and that nothing will be passed like with the immigration fiasco. If the Republican wins the special election for Ted Kennedy’s seat and can get seated in time, it could all be over. We shall see.
