Keeping focus: let’s not forget the continuing battle for our 2nd Amendment

[And thanks, Steve, for the h/t.]

From the ConservativePost.com:

If there has ever been a speech that everyone needs to see regarding Obama’s plan to take our guns, this is the one.

In this clip we see an Army veteran — Aaron Weiss (who serves as a police officer) — speak on the motion to repeal the “Safe Act” at the Dutchess County Legislature of New York State.

God bless men who still speak plainly and tell the truth.  If he isn’t already, he should become a member of Oathkeepers.  I am a member.

And yes; politicians have no courage.  They would refuse to “stack up” because they leave those tasks to the Proles, the Groundlings, the Unwashed, the Serfs.  They have no concept of honor, duty, courage, fidelity, forfeiture, responsibility.  They exist to, these days, enrich their own pockets.  The word politician is spoken with the same reverence as the words shit, garbage, useless, immoral, bankrupt, and liar.  There are a few exceptions; a very few.

Politicians are the Elite and you are to be sacrificed when necessary to ensure their jobs and their re-election.

Why else would they be groomed, stroked, coddled, soothed, guarded by men and women with guns (which they would deny you!), encased in limousines, buffered by purposeful and misleading staffs, and ensconced in protected mansions in areas cordoned off from their electorate?

They are no longer of The People; they are separate from The People.

How many politicians do you hear of living on any street or boulevard called Martin Luther King in your community?

  1. BZ… I want to thank you for the driving tips for New Year’s Eve. I read that post this morning and sent it’s link to friends and family. So, thank you!

  2. From the article: Government Forcing Gun Owners to Register
…After the horrible events at Sandyhook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, the legislature there rammed through new Draconian gun laws that are punishing law abiding gun owners for one insane man’s crimes.
So the picture above shows the mad rush of Connecticut gun owners queuing up outside the local government offices to register certain firearms and ammo that are going to be considered illegal in 2014. That’s right, American citizens being forced by the government to register their firearms under penalty of the law. Where has our liberty gone?

Really chilling. I can almost see a yellow star on their chests. I would ask not only where has our liberty gone but our spirit of resistance? What will happen when the government next says all registered firearms musts be turned in? What will people do? How can people be so blind?

  3. That speech by Aaron Weiss was fantastic!! It should make the history books. It won’t, but it should. I’d be very interested in finding out if it made a difference in the outcome.

  4. I LOVE his ending. It’s easy for these people to pass laws that they, themselves, won’t have to enforce.

    • That is most of the reason things such as Obamacare get enacted. The whole Congress not only get immune from most of what they dump on us, Different other groups can and do get exempted from pieces of legislation as well. It’s all totally unfair and an enormous vessel of excrement.

  5. Last time I was driving thru Las Vegas, I was going to a COSTCO on Martin Luther King Ave, to buy a set of 4 new tires
Well, I found it, pulled into the parking lot, stopped and looked at the neighborhood. The street name says it ALL !!!!
Ferals everywhere, looking into cars, checking for unlocked doors.
Several came up to my door, looked in through the door glass,, and I “introduced” them to my trusty companion MR COLT.
Yes the bore looks big enough to stick your thumb in.
It was then all assholes and elbows and swirling dust due to their emergency exit, earlier experiences acquired,,, I expect.
I left too and drove to Tucson to buy the tires.
As an old, somewhat “crotchety”, retired LEO, I always follow the “gut” feeling acquired by so, so many years of my paid duty, training, and experiences.

The moral of this, is never shop where there are visible “groids”,. NEVER.
