Michael Bloomberg on stronger gun laws: “I don’t understand why the police officers across this country don’t stand up collectively and say we’re going to go on strike”

In a primetime exclusive interview, the head of the executive branch of New York City’s government provided his solution for implementing stricter gun laws in America:

“I don’t understand why the police officers across this country don’t stand up collectively and say we’re going to go on strike,” Bloomberg told the “Piers Morgan Tonight” host. “We’re not going to protect you unless you, the public, through your legislature, do what’s required to keep us safe.”

Me “striking” because the Demorats haven’t taken away our Second Amendment?  Are you kidding?

In summary I ask: isn’t it odd how the cities with the most Draconian gun laws seem to incur the greatest amount of gun violence?

How are those gun laws working out for you, anyway, Mr Bloomberg?

  1. Bloomberg has the right not own a firearm, but he doesn’t have the right to tell anyone else that they can’t. Police officers are honored by many of us and know that they place their lives on the line.

    However, I live, as you already know, in a very dangerous neighborhood, drive-by shootings, drug busts, fights in the streets and my house being broken into.

    So, if I were awakened in the middle of the night by someone trying to break into my home, sure I will call the police. But think about this for a minute, while the police are being notified, the person breaking in will have already found their in. Do I sit and cower in a corner and pray for the police to hurry or do I take affirmative action and shoot the SOB dead, before he harms me or my children? The answer is fairly obvious. Shoot first, ask questions later.

    • This, AOW, again, from another RICH Elitist Demorat who has his OWN contingent of NYPD officers whose ONLY job is to drive him in a limousine, put a vest on him at contentious events, monitor the security in his office, sweep his office for bugs, operate the security systems at his mansion and property, allow him to live in an elite, gated and highly secluded area with the most modern of security programs, protected 24/7 by trained and armed NYPD officers carrying Glocks and FULLY AUTOMATIC machine pistols.

      Mr Bloomberg doesn’t need his OWN personal weapon — he has an entire fleet of vehicles, people, routes and programs to protect him.

      Unlike YOU.

      So go right now, take all your guns and ammo, and place them at the end of your driveway for collection, like the good drone that you are.
