New To “The Usual Suspect” List

Yes yes, I know, perhaps I should have done this months ago. It’s just that so many other things took precedence and, of course, there is no dispute that James holds a massive part in the overall Blogosphere.

It’s simply time I put some Left Wing bloggers into my Usual Suspect list.

DailyKos is too simple and too obvious. James would be about Right. So to speak.

I have to write two things about James: first, he has a truly incredible blog here, filled with stunning, technologically-fabulous updates. His site puts most others, quite frankly, to shame — of course, my own included.

Second — when left wingers have commented on my various posts he addressed the issues extant and made things involve the topics — and not the individuals posting. In other words, I listened to what he said because he deserved listening.

James is always welcome on my site, and I have seldom excised comments from various posts except for those who were far Left of Che himself.

James writes from the heart, soul and from an experiential base — meaning, he’s “Been There, Done That.”

He and I may agree to disagree on occasion, but his arguments are cogent, logical and mature. How can I possibly object to these parameters?

  1. I totally agree. James reminds me of a couple of my liberal relatives who ‘have been there’ and are not OBNOXIOUS. He is the lib. you would want to go fishing/swimming, playing basketball, golf (whatever) with. He is honest and everything you said was right on.

Chatterbox and I reamed a conservative once who laid into James and personally attacked him. This conservative reminded us of a wacked out ‘Fred Phelps’ to say the least.. Long enough.. sorry.

  2. James certainly deserves my respect for loyalty to his issues, if for no other reason. He can offer a good argument and lays a solid foundation when putting forth his views. He’s got a great site, he writes well, offers some contradictory opinions — with no personal attacks unlike many on both sides of the aisle. what’s not to like?

  3. Well, I certainly appreciate the kind words BZ. I’m getting a good reputation in Conservative circles. Heck, my “Bush is the spawn of the devil” line doesn’t ruffle feathers anymore.

Truthfully, I’ve come to respect a lot of you Conservatives. I thought you guys were racist whack-jobs but I’ve put that mindless crap to rest.

Anyway, it is an honor to be on the list. And I shall try not to disappoint you all as I am adding to the Chronicles of Bush Bashing as we speak. See post tomorrow!!! It’ll be a riot.

    WEll Blo:
You did well to add James too. I used to think that I was more Centrist, but naw. He really is closer to a Centrist than anyone out there, except the Bush Bashing, I often find myself in agreement with him on social issues. Where we differ is fiscal policy. BTW I have been recently obsessing on The Federalist Society White Papers as well as the Cato Institute White Papers. These papers are pretty much policy analysis and are a good supplement to loop quantum gravity and stationary black holes;) Ha! I think I will just be a bit more professional and focus on analysis from now on.

And lastly, keeping the fingers crossed and praying for you and the family:)

  5. Ok I havn’t met this man but I went to his sight, Love his football fanatisism. Not to big of fan of his politics but hell if everyone agreed on everything half of us would not be needed.
