Pelosi

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi toured Damascus on Tuesday, the highest- ranking American politician to visit Syria since relations began to deteriorate four years ago. President Bush criticized the trip, saying it sends mixed signals to President Bashar Assad.

The madness begins in earnest, courting our enemies. And as we all should recognize, she gets to set national foreign policy because, after all, she’s the Speaker.

Hey Nance — nice “scarf.” Familiar with the phrase “kowtow”?

  1. Sheeesh … did you have to put her picture up? … you scared the hell out of me… Lets’ just hope Syria kidnaps her so we don’t have to see her on TV anymore…..

  2. She really pisses me off; especially after her condescending press conference telling President Bush to tone it down with the threats. Pelosi Galore needs to understand her place, better; and not undermine U.S. foreign policy.

Whether you agree or not with the Administration’s approach, undermining it will guarantee that their tactics in dealing with Syria will meet with failure.

  3. ABF: sorry, I simply could not pass that photo up — as many other bloggers could not.

Wordsmith: if the roles were reversed, which is my standard of measure, there would be no end of howling and caterwauling from the Democrats.

  4. I consider her actions worse that being a twit – she’s a traitor! I wonder how she’d feel if she had to cover her head every day of her life or else be stoned? Hmmmm, Nancy?
