Promised by the federal government: “No drones over the US.” WRONG

FBI Director Robert MuellerA blatant and bald-faced LIE.

From RT.com:

FBI director admits domestic use of drones for surveillance

The FBI uses drones for domestic surveillance purposes, the head of the agency told Congress early Wednesday.

Robert Mueller, the director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, confirmed to lawmakers that the FBI owns several unmanned aerial vehicles, but has not adopted any strict policies or guidelines yet to govern the use of the controversial aircraft.

“Does the FBI use drones for surveillance on US soil?” Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) asked Mr Mueller during an oversight hearing on Capitol Hill Wednesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee.

“Yes,” Mueller responded bluntly, adding that the FBI’s operation of drones is “very seldom.”

Asked by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-California) to elaborate, Mueller added, “It’s very seldom used and generally used in a particular incident where you need the capability.” Earlier in the morning, however, Mueller said that the agency was only now working to establish set rules for the drone program.

A lie before; a lie again.

Let us not forget this is the same blithering idiot — FBI Director Robert Mueller — who conveniently knew “nothing” about the IRS scandal.

And it is that you trust your federal government to do what precisely?

  1. Aha…so it’s ‘very seldom’ but they’re just now making the rules? YIKES.
That picture is perfect; imagine not having known about the IRS scandal? (ya, sure). Must be painful to work under this administration.

  2. No department in our government can be trusted with this administration in place. This is not to say the government was trustworthy before Obama, but it has gone over the cliff since he has become our “leader” (NOT!).

  3. Being contrary here, I would like to know what everyone is calling a “drone”.
Is it a Global Hawk cruising at high altitudes for hours at a time?

    Or is it a Raven?

I see little difference between a Raven and a ground only robot.

While I have little regard overall for “Fan Belt Inspectors”, some do go in harms way. They should have the tools to help keep them safe.
Do we really need paramilitary SWAT Teams? I don’t think so, but I am willing to be proven wrong.

  4. Well, with all the Muzzie terrorist training camps, and the drug cartels, and the Bilderberg meetings, I can see the need for drones here in the U.S.
Results are important however. No more of this we hardly ever use them stuff. I paid for the damn things so show me the rag-heads in the woods the federally armed Medellín brothers hopping the nonexistent fences and high resolution photos of the fascists arriving at the Marriott. It’s all about who’s in charge, not the toys they play with.

  5. We have one option left to save America and that would be to destroy the monster that IS the federal government and just start over, keeping it within the constraints the Founders intended..

    • It’s a nice thought but the monster is too big to be taken down by insurrection. It will be taken down by itself.
