Apparently so.
As I am still in LE, I still have sources around the nation from the contacts I’ve made over the years, both in the civilian LE side and the military side. Those sources also occasionally have three letters.
Two of those persons are telling me that the US is silently marshaling its forces for a possible incursion into Syria. Special Forces are being alerted first.
UK media is already broadcasting this belief.
I remain unconvinced that American soldiers placed into Syria solve anything. And I remain unconvinced that many videos and photographs of this “gas attack” were not staged.

Guess in your second term you don’t no long need to bow to the folks who funded your two presidential election campaigns (all those credit card donations without the three digit codes that can’t be traced). Talking about the Saudis. BO is clearly supporting the Muslim Brotherhood.
Hope Congress can grow a backbone.

We need to stay out of Syria. This is not our fight. Just look all the wonderful regime changes the US has helped in the area. Such gooood outcomes, no? NO.
The very idea of sending aid of any sort is anathema and to even think of sending our men to get killed in another moslem war is beyond belief.
WW1 came about because of interlocking treaties. China and Russia support Syria. Do we really want to risk a major war to support a disparate group of so called rebels who secretly hate us to begin with and who have committed their own atrocities?
It is their problem. They need to solve it.
And all this posturing by Kerry is only designed to inflame public opinion which is not favoring intervention.
Perhaps this seems callous, but the Middle East Muslims are once again proving themselves entirely competent at killing each other. I say: let them.
They prove, continuously:
“It was me against my brother
Me and my brother against our father
My family against my cousins and the clan
The clan against the tribe
The tribe against the world
And all of us against the infidel”
Keep the lines of oil open; that should be our only concern.

Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out… And concur, we DON’T need to interfere!
Here is my take on this problem.
1. Back Israel 100% whatever they do, including using NUCLEAR devices wherever and whenever they want to.
2. No USA troops on any Arabic soil !! No Boots on the ground, US INFANTRY.
3. Use our warships and our B-1’s and B-52’s to bomb them into oblivion.
4.OK to use Spec Forces on ground for surgical actions to take or kill the Syrian Heads of States, et al, of any Arabic Country supplying the Syrians with weapons or any type of support.
5. Make it clear that our response can and will be Nuclear upon any other country, state, or potentate,, that sends any type of aid to the Syrians, will be destroyed with this lethal response.
