Yes, those high-capacity magazine bans will make a major difference in shootings:

P.S.
And a video I add simply because of its host-shredding destructive factor, and because it makes me smile:

Yes, Piers Morgan says the US Constitution is a “little book.”  And it means nothing to that ignorant Brit Twat.

Ben Shapiro, who is Editor-At-Large at Breitbart.com and an occasional Hugh Hewitt guest host, is a massive shining light in the New Conservative Movement.  His newest book is Bullies: How the Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences Americans.  The dude is fast, sharp, intelligent and thinks on his feet.

  1. Thanks for posting that clip. Never listened to PM before, (and never will again) what an irritating, bullying, annoying SOB (son of Britain). Typical leftwing. Plainly obvious he is not interested in a true dialogue, just pushing his own point of view and trying to denigrate his ‘guest’. That excerpt from Reagan, Ford and Carter about assault rifles…if I am not mistaken, was talking about a ban on the manufacture of ARs, I didn’t see it say a ban on ownership. Did I miss that?

    • As you can see, Shapiro took Morgan apart.

  2. You know, you can make a thousand demonstrations and have all the evidence in the world on your side and it won’t do any good at all with these leftist nut jobs. They have an agenda and a one track mind and reason means nothing. Take guys like Obama and Michael Bloomberg to a range and do all the demonstrations you want and it won’t sway them one bit.

Obama was just speaking to the press and the only thing I came away with is that he is an accomplished, straight faced liar.

  3. My competition meter picked up the fact that in the shooting video they did not run the weapon to slide lock or bolt carrier lock with empty magazines. Yes they saved a little time in magazine changes as the slide release upon reload was obviated. Nice touch. The easiest example was the 1911 shooting at the end, the course was six rounds, mag change, seven rounds, mag change, eight rounds to slide lock on an empty magazine.

Still, the point was well made that statutory magazine capacity limits are meaningless. Magazine capacity limits are a species of nanny state pandering that is now legislative fashion. You and I have seen what a comptent revolver shooter can accomplish with a pocket full of speed loaders in terms of speed and accuracy.
