“China losing patience” — bad for Norks?

NK Situation GraphicFrom the UKTelegraph:

China ‘shifts position’ on North Korea

There are clear signs that China is losing patience with North Korea, America’s former top diplomat in Asia has said.

The age-old worry is that, should “something” occur to North Korea in response to any overt and violent move it may make towards its southern neighbor, the US or other countries, China will intervene and the escalation will become systemic and unstoppable.

Time to re-think that position?

  1. Can’t say I understand the situation at all. South Korea probably can take care of themselves in anything but a nuclear war. It will be an ugly, brutal war, and our 28k or so troops and airmen there will probably be on their own, given Obama’s performance to date.

  2. Sometimes it is better to kill a snake before it has a chance to breed and so it just may be time to take the problem child out. Better to do it now than have a bigger problem later. Maybe this can be an easier decision than the debt for the morons in Washington. Does Obama have the balls to do it?

  3. That graphic is missing the Chinese that have massed on the PRNK border… And there are a few other things wrong too, but I’m not going to get into them. And I’m ‘concerned’ this administration can and WILL throw the military under the bus on this one…

    • But NFO, what else is wrong with it?

It’s a UK graphic. Frequently I find that UK media is much more accurate and more willing to cover topics than the American Media Maggots.
