Awful decade, in my opinion. Though the 80s weren’t much better.
The cars were pretty cool but actually underpowered. Cars are much more reliable now.

Cars were cars that broke down all the time and guzzled gas. Give me a modern car any day!
Mine always served me faithfully. Maybe better maintenance, maybe I talked to them them the right way. I grant you modern cars have gas mileage advantages but for me that is where it ends. Too much computerized gadgetry,too small, too much sameness of appearance. No soul.
