Nancy Pelosi: a pay cut would undermine “dignity” of the job

Right.

Nancy PelosiFrom TheHill.com:

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that she opposes a cut in congressional pay because it would diminish the dignity of lawmakers’ jobs.

“I don’t think we should do it; I think we should respect the work we do,” Pelosi told reporters in the Capitol. “I think it’s necessary for us to have the dignity of the job that we have rewarded.”

So remember, boys and girls, the moral of the story is:

When your boss or your company suggests you take a pay cut, you can quote a Famous Demorat and say: “I’m sorry, I can’t do that; it would undermine the dignity of my job.”

It’ll work every time.  Guaranteed.

  1. As beautiful as California is, and I have been all over that state, I know it’s beautiful, people like Pelosi and those that elect such a cretin, take more away from Cali than they EVER contribute…

Pelosi is so out of touch with reality, they seriously need to put the old bat in a *home* somewhere, put *Depends* on her, place her in a chair, strap her in, set her in a corner somewhere and feed her with a slingshot…

    • The dignity of “it’s beneath me to have my pay cut.”

She is — again — head and shoulders ABOVE the rest of us cattle, us ingrates, us Groundlings, us Proles, us Commoners.

  2. The picture is what she really would have looked like without all the facial surgeries and treatments. It’s a tragedy that people like her have ANY authority.
