20 thoughts on “ROMNEY’S VP PICK: PAUL RYAN

  1. I’ve thought the world of Paul Ryan since I first was made aware of him a couple of years back. I think this gives Romney new energy, gives Americans some real hope. I hope I’m right!

    • I think Ryan is the real deal. He’s a member of the NEWer GOP and isn’t a member of the staid, old GOP “get along” asshats.

The Leftists and DEM/MSM will make this into a terrible event. For me, I believe it’s a new hope.

  2. I like the man and he should provide a spark for an otherwise lack luster campaign. First time at your new site. As you may know I have a number of blogs and will add your new link to them.

  3. Got around to most of my sites BZ and got your new link added to 8. Seven are PR4 and one is PR3. Good luck with your new blog, but then luck has nothing to do with it. Like your spellcheck feature as I’m the worst.

  4. People have been wanting Romney to grow some balls and start fighting with NObama, but now he won’t even have to. Ryan will pick up that slack—BIG TIME. Let’s just hope that it won’t cost to many independant votes to consolidate the base.

  5. I was never a big Romney fan, but he is what he is, he’s all we’ve got, and while I am 100% certain that he is infinitely better qualified than Barack Hussein Obama and will turn the direction that this nation is headed around, I wasn’t going to become too terribly enthusiastic until I saw who he picked to be his VPOTUS candidate. Now I am getting some enthusiasm!

    • I would entirely concur with you. Ryan knows his numbers and has made his chops behind any number of logical budgets.

His budgets have been shot down by Dems NOT because they don’t balance, but because they don’t INCREASE spending.

I salute Romney for this selection.

  6. I’m all in with this ticket. As Fred said the enthusiasm has gone WAY the hell up.

You know me BZ. Anything that pisses the liberpukes off this much has a very good effect on my morale! The entertainment value alone is worth the price of admission. Matter of fact I’ll be making my first political donation since 2010 on Monday and you can bet the recipient won’t be Obama/Biden. LOL

  7. This is a good decision. One which I imagine took more consideration from Congressman Ryan than from Mr. Romney. I hope we will see evidence of Ryan’s influence in campaign strategy, in fact it would not bother me one bit to consider this a Ryan / Romney ticket.

This is a very positive turn of events.
BZ had me worried concerning two other potential choices.

I look for this to be like a classic NASCAR finish. We have the better engine, we have the better driver; but the chassis was tight, the tires… a little thin, and we were running low on fuel.
We just got a chance to pit.
Ryan is four tires, a chassis and wing adjustment and fuel for the finish.
Team Obaka stayed out; no tires, no fuel, no adjustments for the DNC Chevy; but expect dirty tricks.

If the GOP crew is worth their salt, this setup is gonna blow the doors off the competition and bring home the checkered flag.
    I smell doughnuts!!!!!

    I’d say that’s a completely correct summary.

Monday, the bomb bay doors will open and the ordnance will fall. But I think Ryan will handily weather whatever “charges” may be slung like slop.

  9. He’s a budget guy, which is badly needed, but now the dems will bitch about the lack of foreign policy experience! I say screwem… Elect R/R and they can HIRE a good foeign policy guy!

  10. Leticia, the brickbats are already being cabered. “He hasn’t worked a day in his life, he wants to kill MediCare, he shot three children in 1997, he decapitates puppies on weekends, he’s had sex with salamanders, rentoon rentoon rentoon.
