    To begin with, the first blog does a good job of critiquing Politifacts verdict that it is a fake. The second thread provides a bit more substantive review.

    I myself find the inclusion of Comte’s language regarding American gun culture quite interesting and very telling. While I thought the language was too direct to be a genuine U.N. document it was written by a college trained leftist.

    I think this might be a tag document. The language, restricted earmark, and .jpg format is designed specifically to generate interest and be shared by a target audience. Tracking blog postings and responses is simple through Google Images and/or paste searching unique phrases from the text. Following this myself I can see this was a brilliantly selective device.

    My best guess is that we have just participated in a clever academic experiment or we can expect our hard-drives to crash in 3, 2, &^*^&**&%$%^

  6. Please say this is a joke. That there is no way this will ever become law of the land. If not, hunting smurfs would have been fun. If only I didn’t lose all my guns and ammo in the boating accident a while back. I never did find any of them.
