  1. Thank GOD the future King of England was born. I haven’t seen anything but that in the news over the last couple of days. Not 1 single peep about that guy from Florida, I forget his name now (not really), that we were force-fed since the verdict came in. So go ahead, news peeps, keep focusing about the baby with no name!

  2. Yeah, well that scenario was not likely to happen. Blacks aren’t exactly “punching above their weight” over there:
“Eighty-nine percent of U.S. war dead in Afghanistan through 2010 were white, while whites made up only 80 percent of the population in 2008.
Blacks, who make up about 13 percent of the population, accounted for eight percent of the dead.
Asian-Americans, four percent of the population, were two percent of the dead.
Native-Americans were about one percent of the population, and of U.S. deaths in Afghanistan.
Moving from race to ethnicity, we find that 11 percent of U.S. war dead were Hispanic, while Hispanics were over 15 percent of the population in 2008.”

Soooooo… what if we throw in Iraq, ya know, a more robust sample for the statistic skeptics.

“Whites make up 75.6% of the U.S. population (ages 18-44), and 67% of the total DOD force, but experienced 75.2% (3,525) of the combat casualties.
Blacks make up 12.2% of the U.S. population (ages 18-44), 17% of the total DOD force, and experienced 9.3% (437) of the total casualties.
Hispanics comprise 14.2% of the same population, 9% of the total DOD force and had 10.4% (489) of the casualties.

    So…. ummmm…. yeah. Not a likely scenario.
In fact, Afghanistan is a safe place for blacks compared to most major urban metropolitan areas because, it seems, they would rather fight at home.
