Seems like some of the media can’t swallow this whole. A lie too far? Nah, they will rationalize it and find a way to blame Bush, or a surrogate like Powell.

I’ve had serious discussions with a news correspondent (print/freelance) who writes for well known magazines. He is dis-interested in Hillary’s “minor infractions”, implying that a certain amount of low-level criminal activity is acceptable and expected from seasoned politicians and that Hillary is preferable over Trump because he’s untried and unpredictable (my interpretation of said discussion). There is no interest in investigating any of the accusation against Hillary because they don’t rise to a “criminal -enough” level and they are leveled by loose cannons (again, the gist in my words).
People are blind and apathetic.
“Tell us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?”
“For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places.”
“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”
And that tells me the media is appalling. This should stun everyone. Yet when “corruption” on the other side of the aisle occurs the AMM is all over it like flies on shite.
