Alan Mark Grayson, the United States Representative for Florida’s 9th congressional district and a member of the Democratic Party, is quite a hateful man.
The 55-year-old Grayson, whose wife is named Lolita (apparently a tribute to Nabokov, if you can manage to paste that image into your wheelhouse), has made it clear that the TEA Party equates to the KKK and cross burnings.
From the OrlandoSentinel.com:
Grayson compares Tea Party to KKK
WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson is ruffling feathers again — this time with a fundraising appeal that compares the tea-party movement to the Ku Klux Klan.
In a campaign email sent Monday, the Orlando Democrat includes the transcript of an interview he did recently on MSNBC in which Grayson said that the politics of the government shutdown had turned many Americans away from the tea party.
Further:
“At this point, the tea party is no more popular than the Klan,” Grayson said.
The email then takes that comparison one step further by including a photograph of a burning cross with Klansmen in the background. The cross then becomes the “T” in the words “Tea Party” transposed over the picture. Below is the caption: “Now you know what the ‘T’ stands for.”
And the understanding and smoothing and licking and grooming of the Leftists goes on and on and on.
Because there is no greater an inclusive group than Leftists nationwide.

If, once again, I could use one word, it would be “despicable”.
+1 on WSF, and obviously NO understanding of the Dem’s history…
“Because there is no greater an inclusive group than Leftists nationwide.”
Well, let’s clarify this a bit. As an original (and, now former) Republican (now called a RINO for some reason), I was not against the original stated purpose of the Tea Party – that being controlling costs, government spending, and all those other fiscal issues.
However, sadly, the Tea Party effectively was taken over by social ultra-conservatives who are against birth control, abortion, gay rights, immigration, and on and on. It kind of reminds me of the old “Religious Right” and Jerry Falwell, but all on steroids. And, frankly, this demographic mostly is older white males who are finding they no longer rule the roost and soon will no longer be in the majority.
While these social conservatives might think they are in the majority, they are living in a bubble and as each election cycle passes, young people who are more socially liberal come into the voting pool while the oldsters die off. The TP’ers can “hope” and “believe” otherwise, but the facts are the facts. Same-sex marriage really is approved of by more than 50% of the population in general and by over 70% of those under 30. Attrition tells us where this is going.
So, if the “Leftists” are not “inclusive” it is because we look at the social ultra-conservatives in much the same way as most Americans look at Hitler or Stalin – ideologues who denied civil liberties to millions even though the implementation of those civil liberties would not have affected them in the slightest. In a nutshell, most Americans find these people just plain nuts and inclusion is not in the cards.
If the Tea Party would return to normalcy and its original goals, it might stand a chance of survival. It has decimated the GOP which is a real shame.
There you go sir. Comment published.
Leftists as in “we.”
So, just one quick question: in your world, just WHO is going to PAY for all of this excess?
Social Conservatives are like Hitler or Stalin? Because Social Conservatives have killed so many people — like Hitler and Stalin? Really? You’re going to go there?
We denied civil liberties?
Let me be blunt: I couldn’t care less who gets butt-fucked in the privacy of their own houses or who gets rammed with a strap-on.
I DO, however, hold to the ancient thought that words have actual meanings and MARRIAGE, to me, means one MAN and one WOMAN.
You can HAVE civil unions and you can buttfuck and strap-on whomever you wish in the privacy of your own homes and bedrooms.
But leave the word MARRIAGE alone, because it has an actual meaning.
And I happen to be correct. Leftists are roughly as inclusive as a good venereal disease. Except when they’re not.
And immigration isn’t about emotions, it’s about reality and cash and sovereignty. When illegal Mexicans decide they don’t wish to obey our laws, then why is it that I cannot likewise decide which laws to obey as well?
You seem to believe that we are not a nation of laws. Or perhaps we should just pick and choose off the menu from an unseen index, eh?
You are correct about one thing, Chuck: demography is prophecy. Which side of this are you, ultimately, on? Muslims in the east, or Mexicans in the west?
Do, please, what I call The Logical Extension.
