Aw, how sad, flag burners in New York City got scared by a couple of white male adults with squirt guns.

Veterans and Bikers Crash Flag Burning Protest in New York City Park

Anti-police activists set out to protest racism in a New York City park Wednesday by burning the American flag. Instead, they “got a huge surprise from a group of veterans and bikers who sent the flag-burners scattering — and getting an exit escort from the same police they demonstrate against,” according to BizPac Review.
The activist group wanting to protest – “Disarm NYPD” – planned the event days in advance, but residents and the Mayor’s office were encouraging them to find another way to voice their concern, as Breitbart News previously reported.
“We maintain, unwaveringly, that both the Confederate flag, and the American flag are symbols of oppression,” the group stated.
Right. The American flag, a symbol of oppression.
However: the counter-protesters came prepared with water guns and their own flags. Pushback such as this was certainly not on their agenda.
Protesters good; counter-protesters Evil. Capital E. (Millennials don’t know the difference between capital and capitol. You see? I educate.)
Because, after winning in Europe and Japan during WWII, the US became nothing but an evil occupier of those countries. The Marshall Plan was really all about stealing the oil and diamonds there. Oh, such Evil Americans.
Therefore, the protesters burning flags in the New York park were certainly justified in doing so and merely sought validation for their thoughts. Who could possibly argue against burning the American flag? Certainly Syrians couldn’t. ISIS couldn’t. Iranians couldn’t. See? Everyone agrees the American flag needs to be burned.
Again I say: I was correct. And Rush Limbaugh was right.
“They’re losers looking for a few minutes of fame,” John Carroll told New York City’s CBS2 News. “And they didn’t even have the guts to do it down there where they were far outnumbered. And I got here before they destroyed it completely.”
The protesters were none too pleased with the bikers and vets.

Even Socialist/Marxist NY Major Bill DeBlasio said:
“This protest is a divisive, disrespectful way to express views, and does not reflect the values of our city. The American flag represents national unity, our shared ideals and honors the brave women and men who have served our country,” de Blasio said in a statement issued before the protest, according to CBS2.
While the intent of the demonstration may have been to open a dialogue about race, the focus for many was on the burning flag.
“If you’re going to burn the American flag, you’re going to run the risk of running into people like me,” said John Carroll of Ridgewood, one of the pro-flag demonstrators. “I will stand by this flag all the time.”
“Colonial Imperialism still exists.”
What the hell? Are you this incredibly stupid?
But what Leftists truly think:
“We do not believe the ideals of America are anything to be revered … We dream of what real freedom looks like: freedom from paramilitaries occupying our communities, beating and killing our sons and daughters; freedom from our communities being destroyed by the speculative capital of gentrification; freedom from mass surveillance; and freedom from systemic racism,” the statement continued. “So, we will burn the American flag, a symbol of oppression and genocide, and in the same action, dismantle our stunted, cynical expectations of what is possible in the world.”
And just who enabled the suppression of freedom? Just who enabled mass surveillance? Oh right. Government. Your government. The one you claim to love so much.
