For Friday: Whittle’s State of the Union — on firearms — 2013

From the simply-too-logical Bill Whittle:

I must apologize, up front, for the common sense and the facts and the logic.  I further apologize for not immediately sparking, lighting and ramping up the jejune flames of emotion and illogic.

Leftists would have us stop with the logic, stop with the statistics, stop with the common sense.  If something “feels” innately good, well, then, it simply must be good according to primeval emotions.

But emotions didn’t build fire, and emotions didn’t discover the wheel.  Necessity and survival did.  As did the piles and piles and piles of dead bodies required to discover these things through trial and error.

Let there be no mistake: Mr Whittle speaks for me.

And let there be no further mistake: the Fornicalia Department of Justice (DOJ), under current Governor Jerry Brown, who is a Leftist abortion-on-toast that immediately disbanded the BNE (because CNOA opposed Brown as governor) and, having fired numerous DOJ agents, is once again re-hiring 40 said personnel in order to specifically target firearms enforcement and firearms confiscation in the state.  Let my DOJ readers weigh in.

Fornicalia AG Kamala Harris is another Leftist apologist for Leftists, a despiser of law enforcement, and a sniveling jackanape-of-a-disciple of Barack Hussein Obama due to philosophy and shared melanin counts — may he ascend towards godhood.  Little g.  Kamala Harris: no death penalty for a dead SFPD officer, eh wot?  Good for you.  Time to take a stand against law enforcement.

All: prove to me that this is incorrect or improperly reported.

The Second Amendment exists to prevent tyranny.  It exists to prevent people from, at its base, government.

Sheriff Joe Arpaio: winning another election

As “racist” and “divisive” and “judgmental” as he may be —

Joe Arpaio just won –at age 80 — another term as Sheriff of Maricopa County in Arizona.

With that in mind, he posits:

Sheriff Joe to Obama: Let’s Meet ‘Man to Man’ to Discuss Immigration

Defiant and reflective, 80-year-old Maricopa County, Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio told Breitbart News after winning re-election that he has a message for President Barack Obama: granting amnesty to illegal immigrants is unfair to legal immigrants.

Ladies and gentlemen, in my 40+ years in law enforcement — federal, state and county — I can’t tell you how much I would have loved to have worked for Sheriff Joe Arpaio in my career.  His fundamental honesty, his integrity, his clarity, has diminished my past Sheriffs into dust:

– Scott Jones — I’m awaiting his potential “legacy”
– John McGinness — the greatest disappointment in the history of my department
– Lou Blanas
– Glenn Craig
– Robbie Waters

They were all sucking sycophants for votes.

The last “honest” Sheriff my county had was Duane Lowe.  He drank, he suspended deputies, he made edicts; if you pissed him off he remembered you.  But he brought my department into the 20th and then the 21st century.  God bless him.  He typified “Old School.”

The others: a sad commentary.  They were mostly empty suits with one exception: Lou Blanas actually cared about his deputies.

That said:

“I wish the president would invite me to the White House,” Arpaio told Breitbart News. “We’ll have some wine and beer, and light up cigars.”

When it comes to potential amnesty provisions being discussed in Washington, Arpaio said he is against amnesty because, to him, it is a fairness issue the elite media and career politicians in Washington do not understand. 

“It’s a fairness issue, nobody thinks about that,” Arpaio said. “Why should we reward people who come here illegally?” Arpaio noted that “everybody around the world is waiting for years to come here” and “they don’t all come sneaking in.” “I’m an old-time guy, I just use common sense,” Arpaio said.

We need more Joe Arpaios as Sheriffs and Chiefs.

We won’t get them.
