Tsarnaev: death

From the BostonGlobe.com:

Tsarnaev sentenced to death

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was sentenced to death Friday for his role in the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, the terror attack on the finish line of the storied race that killed three people and injured more than 260 others.

Tsarnaev, 21, had been convicted last month in US District Court in Boston of 17 charges that carried the possibility of the death penalty.

Three people were killed and over 260 people were wounded when two pressure-cooker bombs exploded near the Boston Marathon finish line on April 15th of 2013.

Frankly, I’m surprised the death penalty was acquired.

Thomas Friedman: the proper response to the Boston Marathon bombing is a carbon tax

Boston BombingEh, wot?

Sometimes you just have to think that Leftists are filled with innocent April 1st deception and overall jollity.

Except that Leftists wouldn’t recognize general humor if it walked up and put a nailgun into their heads.

Thomas Friedman, columnist for the New York Times, wrote this past Sunday:

UNTIL we fully understand what turned two brothers who allegedly perpetrated the Boston Marathon bombings into murderers, it is hard to make any policy recommendation other than this: We need to redouble our efforts to make America stronger and healthier so it remains a vibrant counterexample to whatever bigoted ideology may have gripped these young men.

With so many societies around the world being torn apart, especially in the Middle East, it is vital that America survives and flourishes as a beacon of pluralism.

Rebuilding our strength has to start with healing our economy.

So what to do?  We need a more “radical center” — one much more willing to suggest radically new ideas to raise revenues, not the “split-the-difference-between-the-same-old-options center.” And the best place to start is with a carbon tax.

So, when you kill people in Boston, when you kill cops who respond to the threat, the logical response to this is a tax.

All of those who think this is insane, please raise your hands.

A Boston video you didn’t see, UN-covered by the American Media Maggots:

Likely you never saw this video splayed across the national television screens, except once on NBC.

Boston Bruins vs the Buffalo Sabres, directly after the Boston Marathon bombing:

And when was the last time you actually heard our national anthem sung, at any sports event, with such vigor that the singer was drowned out?

God bless America; the last and best hope of the entire planet.

Because when America dies, freedom dies.
