Obama: now lying about his lies

Obama, Lying to AmericaFrom the DailyCaller.com:

Obama denies ‘you can keep it’ videotaped promises

by Neil Munro, White House Correspondent

President Barack Obama told his enthusiastic supporters Monday night that he never promised what video recordings show him promising at least 29 times.

The videos show Obama promising 300 million Americans that “if you like your health-care plan, you will be able to keep your health-care plan, period.”

But that’s not what he really said, Obama announced Monday in a speech to about 200 Organizing for Action supporters, gathered at the St. Regis hotel in D.C.

Ready for the lying about lies?  Here we go:

“What we said was you could keep it if it hasn’t changed since the law was passed,” he told Obamacare’s political beneficiaries and contractors.

That claim is not supported by his videotaped statements, which don’t include any mention of his new “if it hasn’t changed” exception.

[again, my new favorite video:]

Continuing:

“So the bottom line is, is that we are making the insurance market better for everybody,” he declared, prompting loud applause by supporters eager to ignore his three years of fraudulent statements.

Obama’s higher promise is now causing the cancelation of insurance policies chosen by at least 3.5 million Americans.

Of course that can’t be true.  Or can it?  As with many things these days, due to technology, the veracity of that allegation can be confirmed.

Simply go to http://mycancellation.com/.

Letter after letter after letter attests to the fact that regular people, American Taxpayers like you and me, are losing their health insurance plans.  The plans that Mr Obama swore, roughly 29 times, in public, captured in video, you could keep.  With the doctors you could keep too.

See the American Thinker article here as well.

Demorats are quantifying cancellations as simply some sort of “rite of passage,” a “transition” if you will — like an ugly pupae into a gorgeous Obamafly.

And that you’ve lost your insurance or been inconvenienced in the slightest means nothing to Mr Obama.

“We decided we need to build something better, no matter how hard it is,” he declared.

A nice little capper: Mr Obama lied with purpose and deliberation.

Obama’s deceptive statements were deliberate and were intended to bolster Obama’s ability to get Obamacare passed in 2010 and him reelected in 2012, according to aides cited in a Wall Street Journal article Saturday.

The thing I find absolutely astounding is the remarkable indifference of the American Media Maggots — to the point that I believe they are not only choosing to ignore but mislead.

That’s where I come in.  I’m doing the job the American Media Maggots refuse to.  The once-prototypical inquisitive and suspicious nature of American journalists is gone.

Obama's Lapdog

Harry Reid: “why would we want to do that?”

And what was that statement in reference to?

Harry Reid being asked the question: “If you can help one child who has cancer, why wouldn’t you do it?”

Harry Reid’s answer: “Why would we want to do that?”

And there is your caring, nurturing Leftist and Demorat contingent, with Harry Reid in charge.

From CNN:

BASH: But if you can help one child with cancer, why wouldn’t you do it?

REID: Why would we want to do that? I have 1100 people at Nellis Air Force Base sitting home. They have problems of their own.

There you go, thanks to Harry Reid.

Out of the mouth of Harry Reid.  And then time to insult the AMM female who asks the question in the first place.  A Leftist AMM who deigns to ask an actual question that Mr Reid doesn’t wish to answer.  When you don’t have a cogent argument, as it is said time and again, make the attacks personal.  How does it feel, Bash?

God bless Harry Reid.  God bless the average Obama voter:

And here you see the intelligence, caring, compassion and insight of the Demorats and those who vote for Demorats.

You can’t make this stuff up.  Really.  That’s why God created video.

House Republicans pass test vote to defund Obamacare; shutdown edges closer

Cruz ObamacareFrom the WashingtonTimes.com:

By Tom Howell Jr., The Washington Times

House Republicans survived a key test vote Thursday on their plan to keep the government running while trying to halt the health care law, defying a veto threat from President Obama and inching closer to a shutdown showdown with Senate Democrats.

Top Republicans say their party’s strategy is unlikely to succeed and not worth shutting down the government, but some rank-and-file lawmakers said they have to draw a line now and use the leverage of the spending bill to end the president’s signature achievement.

Ted Cruz hit the nail on the head during an interview with Hugh Hewitt.  In one reply, Senator Cruz stated:

TC:    .  .  . every day it becomes clearer and clearer that this thing isn’t working, that more and more Americans are losing their jobs, are not getting hired in the first place. More and more Americans are finding themselves forcibly reduced to 29 hours a week. More and more Americans are seeing skyrocketing health insurance premiums. And more and more Americans are losing their health insurance altogether. And as you noted, the fact that the unions are jumping ship, I mean, there is bipartisan agreement that it isn’t working, and President Obama has already lawlessly granted exemptions for big corporations and for members of Congress. And this fight over defunding Obamacare in one sentence is about if President Obama will grant waivers to big corporations and members of Congress, why would President Obama threaten to shut down the federal government in order to deny those same waivers to hard-working American families?

Correct: if Obamacare is so wonderful, why are there any exemptions whatsoever, to either corporations who donated to Mr Obama’s campaign, or any DC politician and their staffs?  If Obamacare is so wonderful, inclusive, less expensive and more efficient, why would there be any exemptions at all?

I think you know that answer.

And finally: a filibuster?

Democratic Official Allan Brauer Wishes Death on Ted Cruz Aide’s Children

BY:

Allan Brauer, the communications chair for the Democratic Party of Sacramento, Calif., told an aide to Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Tex.) on Friday that he hoped her children “die from debilitating, painful and incurable diseases.”

He followed up the attack with a series of vicious tweets:

Ah, those loving, understanding, compassionate, sensitive, tender, kind and all-inclusive Demorats and Leftists, embracing and considerate of all persons’ feelings and opinions.

Congress’s Exemption from Obamacare

Criminals & PoliticiansFrom NationalReview.com:

Make Congress get insurance the same way the little people do? Hill denizens howl in fury.  by John Fund

Prostitution. Bribery. Blackmail. Thuggery. Hypocrisy.

Those were just some of the incendiary words thrown around the U.S. Senate last week, and that doesn’t count what people said in private.

Senator David Vitter, a Louisiana Republican, has demanded a floor vote on his bill to end an exemption that members of Congress and their staffs are slated to get that will make them the only participants in the new Obamacare exchanges to receive generous subsidies from their employer to pay for their health insurance. Angry Senate Democrats have drafted legislation that dredges up a 2007 prostitution scandal involving Vitter. The confrontation is a perfect illustration of just how wide the gulf in attitudes is between the Beltway and the rest of the country — and how viciously Capitol Hill denizens will fight for their privileges.

In 2009, Senator Chuck Grassley (R., Iowa) decided that the principle deserved to be embedded in Obamacare, and he was able to insert a provision requiring all members of Congress and their staffs to get insurance through the Obamacare health exchanges. “The more that Congress experiences the laws it passes, the better,” said Grassley. Although his amendment was watered down before final passage to exclude committee staff, it still applies to members of Congress and their personal staffs. Most employment lawyers interpreted that to mean that the taxpayer-funded federal health-insurance subsidies dispensed to those on Congress’s payroll — which now range from $5,000 to $11,000 a year — would have to end.

What Vitter’s opponents fear most is that this fight will penetrate the public’s consciousness. A new poll taken for Independent Women’s Voice, a conservative group, found that 92 percent of voters think Congress shouldn’t be exempted from the insurance provisions of Obamacare. Most voters blame both parties equally for the exemption, which means Republicans will also be hurt politically if it stands. “This is an issue with almost unprecedented intensity,” IWV president Heather Higgins told me. “Republicans have the choice of leading the Vitter parade for repeal or getting run over by it. To duck it will be viewed by their constituents as political malpractice.”

Please note the phrase “Democrats and Republicans alike,” above.  Both sides of the aisle believe it’s fundamentally “unfair” for them to have to abide by the fruits of their own bills.  Proving once again that, in essence, there isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the two sides, with a smattering of exceptions.

You have to realize: those in DC are simply better than us.  Us: the American Taxpayers.  The proles, the serfs, the groundlings.

“Doctors dump health insurance plans, charge patients less” — the coming look for medicine?

ObamaKare LogoFrom Breitbart.com:

WICHITA, Kan., June 14 (UPI) —
A Kansas physician says he makes the same income and offers better quality care to his patients after he dumped all health insurance companies.

Thirty-two-year old family physician Doug Nunamaker of Wichita, Kan., said after five years of dealing with the red tape of health insurance companies and the high overhead for the staff he hired just to deal with paperwork, he switched to a system of charging his patients a monthly fee plus the price of an office visit or test, CNN/Money reported.

For example, under Nunamaker’s membership plan — also known as “concierge” medicine or “direct primary care” practices — each patient pays a flat monthly fee to have unlimited access to the doctors and any medical service they can provide in the practice, such as stitches or an EKG.

We all know that the cost of healthcare is going to skyrocket under Mr Obama’s dutiful and loving ObakaKare in 2014.  It’s doing so already.  The cost of healthcare in Fornicalia may increase up to 146%.  See article here.

ObamaKare is also causing businesses to shed employees so that they stay under the minimum employee coverage cap of 50, or to cut hours to less than 30 per week.

The Roberts Supreme Court cleared the way for ObamaKare by ruling that its mandate is a tax and not a penalty.

That all said, there is going to be much pain under ObamaKare, for me and you and the American Taxpayer.  There will be little pain, of course, for those lampreys who simply want a continuation of their Free Cheese, to include illegal Mexicans and other illegal and parasitic invaders.

Free Cheese Parasite & TaxpayerFirst, there will be pain.  Much pain, as illustrated above.  This introductory period will be a very bad time for the average American Taxpayer to get sick or injured.

Slowly but surely, however, things will come around.  Nature abhors a vacuum and the sucking sound created by ObamaKare will produce a void that will be filled by American ingenuity, both lawful and “unlawful” — though I consider ObamaKare and the complete government takeover of American medicine in and of itself unlawful.

First, “concierge” programs like the one above will increase.

There may also be cash-only programs offered solely to the wealthiest of us, with exclusive doctors catering to individuals on the highest of orders.

We may also go back to something of a bartering system.

But this vacuum will be filled, ladies and gentlemen; the “get-around” is only beginning to ferment.

In the meantime, this from Breitbart.com:

U.S. producing ‘abysmally low’ number of primary care doctors

WASHINGTON, June 15 (UPI) —
Despite a shortage of U.S. primary care doctors, less than 25 percent of new doctors go into this field, and fewer still work in rural areas, researchers say.

Lead study author Dr. Candice Chen, an assistant research professor of the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services, said the study also found only 4.8 percent of the new primary care physicians set up shop in rural areas.

Currently, the United States is producing primary care physicians at rates that are “abysmally low,” Chen said.

Ladies and gentlemen, the doctor-to-patient ratio in the United States is already execrable.  Under ObakaKare with millions more persons to be poured into the equation, and senior doctors retiring at an unprecedented rate because they don’t wish to be involved in more bureaucracy (as the current bureaucracy is stealing their soul), the only possibly immediate result is in fact rationing of services.

As most everyone — at least on the Left Coast — realizes, good luck in even being able to communicate in English with your doctor or nurse.
