Dead Leftists can’t even put down their cell phones

Figure 1: Dead Leftists texting. Perhaps this illustrates how the dead also manage to continuously vote for Leftists.

This is rather amusing and, if nothing else, entertaining — until you realize that all of these Leftist/Progressive simps are actually serious. And until you realize something I’ll show you in a moment.

But when I saw them in the midst of their protests — hammering away on social media whilst “dead” on the floor — I actually barked out a larf and was incredibly glad I wasn’t in the midst of quaffing a carbonated beverage because, knowing me, it would have been ejected at great force through my nose.

WATCH: Far-Left Parkland Activists Scream On Grocery Store Floor, Demand Boycott

by Ryan Saavedra

Parkland gun control activists threw themselves on the floor of a Florida grocery store on Friday, screaming and yelling for customers to boycott the store because of political donations that it had made.

The “die-in” was organized by far-left activist and provocateur David Hogg, who has launched multiple boycotts aimed at those who support the NRA or who criticize him.

Then there was the standard Mark 1, Model 1 Capitulation by corporate America.

This can be a proverbial double-edged sword. Leftists may stop shopping at Publix. But Second Amendment and NRA supporters will — you guessed it — also stop shopping at Publix.

The political scene is cutthroat. It is already bloody. It is about to get bloodier.

Illinois dodges a bullet

Dixon Police Department SRO Mark Dallas. A good guy with a gun. A hero.

And then leads with its chin towards more bullets. It makes no sense whatsoever.

First, from CNN.com:

This officer stopped a school shooter before anyone got hurt

by Emanuella Grinberg and Amanda Watts

An Illinois school resource officer is being praised as a hero for intervening when a former student opened fire Wednesday morning at Dixon High School.

US Vice President Mike Pence lauded the “heroic actions” of Dixon Police Officer Mark Dallas, who shot and wounded the gunman.

“Another example of the brave work performed by law enforcement each and every day. Lives were saved thanks to the heroic actions of school resource officer Mark Dallas,” Pence said on Twitter.

Suspect Matthew Milby faces three charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm and $2 million bond, Illinois State Police said. More charges may be filed.

The 19-year-old former student opened fire near the school auditorium where students had gathered for graduation ceremony rehearsal, the statement said.

The suspect fled the school and Dallas chased him, Dixon Police Chief Steven Howell said in a news conference. The suspect continued to shoot at the officer and the officer returned fire, Howell said.

The suspect was taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries. He will be transported to jail after he’s released from the hospital, state police said.

Two things occurred simultaneously, I noted:

  • The story wasn’t carried immediately and placed on the A List. No one in the American Media Maggot arena wanted to lead with “it takes a Good Guy with a firearm to defeat a Bad Guy with a firearm.”
  • The officer who stopped the shooter wasn’t immediately identified — as you know he would had this been a shooting wherein a darker skinned individual was shot.

Facts in evidence. Not one student was killed. Not one student was injured. They were proverbial sitting ducks otherwise. Students and administrative members were complacent in a school auditorium practicing for graduation. They were in Condition White. There existed no reason to think otherwise.

The School Resource Officer, Mark Dallas, exists in his work world primarily between Conditions Yellow and Orange. His radar and cop primal instincts were working well on May 16th. Specifically: he did his job. As opposed to Broward County Deputy Scot Peterson. He failed and the system in Florida failed.

So what do Leftists in Illinois suggest? I hope you’re sitting down. From NewsChannel20.com:

Bill looks to replace School Resource Officers with social workers

by Amanda Henderson

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WICS) — The recent amount of threats in schools is prompting Illinois lawmakers to make changes.
Some people are not happy about what it entails. Some legislators are looking to get rid of school resource officers (SROs) and replace them with social workers.

SROs say that for schools, they are important assets for safety and for the students.

“You know, I think kids sometimes think twice about doing certain things knowing you’re inside that building,” Illinois School Resource Officer for Triad School District Kip Heinle said.

But some lawmakers want to take the money that funds them in the schools and give it mental health services.

Is this not the absolute quintessential illustration of Leftist ideals today? What could possibly go wrong?

“There’s actually very tangible benefits. Counselors are needed in a wide variety of situations. Whether it is helping a child adjust to a divorce, to helping a child to adjust to a tragedy in a family too,” Clinical Psychologist Dr. Bill Moredock said.

This bill is currently being held on calendar and it says it will not have a fiscal impact on the Illinois State Board of Education.

Bottom line: it takes a good guy with a gun to stop a bad guy with a gun. A knife won’t work. Harsh words won’t work. Sarcasm won’t work. Pleas won’t work. Logic won’t work. Good wishes won’t work. A discussion about multiculturalism won’t work. Placating won’t work. Acquiescence won’t work. Good will won’t work.

The inherent nature of Man is evil, not goodness. Why else would we need Ten Commandments? Why else would we need a rule of law or foundational documents?

Proving once again that Leftists may be educated, but they learn nothing.

Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin: the truth about firearms

First, please watch the video.

You might have to listen a bit closely. The video isn’t taken with a professional microphone but, instead, as it occurred.

This is likely the most incisive and insightful response you’ll ever see or hear regarding the issue of firearms. Which is why it will be avoided like uranium or duck farts by the American Media Maggots.

Let this sink and simmer into your wheelhouse.

“The pharmacodynaimic effect of certain drugs. The pharmacogenomic effect of certain drugs.” Shooters and suspects who were on certain drugs.

Putting little boys on Ritalin, for example, because little boys can be challenging in class. They don’t just sit down and shut up like little girls.

The truth scimitars through everything.

Whilst nothing succeeds like success .  .  .

Nothing is truthful but the truth.

Joe Biden: First Baptist Church hero shouldn’t have had a gun

You actually read that correctly.

The man who, in every sense, was the person primarily responsible for stopping Devin Kelley, the suspect in the November 5th church shooting in Sutherland Springs, in which 26 persons were killed, was singled out Wednesday by former Vice President Joe Biden — but not in a good way.

From the WashingtonTimes.com:

Joe Biden says Texas church shooting hero Willeford never should have owned AR-15

by Douglas Ernst

Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden says the Texan who confronted Sutherland Springs’ mass shooter this month never should have owned an AR-15.

Gunman Devin Kelley was shot and wounded on Nov. 5 by hero Stephen Willeford during the deadliest church shooting in U.S. history, but Mr. Biden told an NBC audience on Monday that an AR-15 should not have aided the good Samaritan. His comments came during a “Today” show appearance that was opened up for an audience Q&A session.

“How do you justify the Democratic [Party’s] view on gun control when the shooter was stopped by a man who was legally licensed to carry a gun?” a woman asked.

“Well, first of all, the kind of gun being carried he shouldn’t be carrying,” Mr. Biden replied, the Daily Wire reported. “Assault weapons are … I wrote the last serious gun control law that was written and was law for 10 years, and it outlawed assault weapons and it outlawed weapons with magazines that had a whole lot of bullets and so you can kill a whole lot of people a lot more quickly.”

Mr. Willeford, a former National Rifle Association instructor, said in follow-up interviews after the shooting that his AR-15’s firepower was necessary because Mr. Kelley wore protective body armor.

Here are Biden’s remarks on Wednesday’s Today show.

Consider that for a moment.

In the world of Joe Biden, the shooter should have been able to continue on his rampage — and in every likelihood would have done so — unopposed and unimpeded until the “approved” wielders of firepower arrived: the law enforcement agency applicable.

Note to Joe and others: I worked in law enforcement for 41 years, easily twice the standard service for most officers. I’ve seen most everything imaginable in a LE venue. And if there’s one thing I know it’s this: there is no way any law enforcement officer can be everywhere at every time. Further, you wouldn’t want that. It would equate to a veritable Police State and I wouldn’t wish that on anyone or any nation.

That said, Joe Biden, you are apparently more than willing to abandon the ability of average Americans to arm and defend themselves against certain assaults and deadly incursions in order to enable your perfect world.

This from Liz Wheeler on OAN:

From NationalReview.com:

Joe Biden’s Muddled Response to the Texas Shooting Was Unintentionally Revealing

by David French

If nothing you propose will reduce mass shootings, just go for sentiment and stigmatize gun owners.

The Sutherland Springs, Texas, shooting presents a serious problem for those who claim that the government offers the answer for gun violence. After all, the government failed at every turn, and it was up to a private citizen to stop one of the worst mass shootings in American history. The shooter was disqualified on multiple grounds from legally owning a gun, yet he obtained his weapons anyway. The police were apparently nowhere near the church (they can’t be everywhere in rural America) and couldn’t intervene for many long, agonizing minutes. It took a brave citizen with an AR-15 to match the shooter’s firepower and bring his rampage to an end.

Stop with the facts. Just stop them. Never let the facts, history, logic, rationality, proportion and common sense get in the way of a good fucked-up decision. Or opinion.

Still and all, it’s just fine for our “leaders” to eschew the rules and laws they impose on us little people, us proles, groundlings, serfs, commoners. You know, those persons who have personal security assigned to them, people who are paid to carry guns.

The rest of us can go to hell.

Virgin Islands: gun confiscation in the face of Hurricane Irma

Is this a harbinger of things to come?

If you’re a Leftist, anarchist or a Demorat, it’s an idea whose time is past due.

From the FederalistPapers.org:

Virgin Islands Governor Signs Order For Confiscation of Personal Firearms Ahead of Hurricane Irma

by Seth Connell

The Second Amendment provides that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed, but the Virgin Islands Governor somehow sees a Hurricane exception to the Supreme Law of all U.S. land.

As the Caribbean and United States prepare for the incredibly powerful Hurricane Irma, people everywhere from the Gulf Coast to the Carolinas are getting ready for possible impact. That includes the U.S. Virgin Islands, a territory where the governor has signed an executive order authorizing the National Guard to seize privately owned firearms, ammunition, explosives, and property, The Daily Caller is reporting.

Because, as everyone knows, the US Virgin Islands is the first place one envisions when civil unrest and insurrection is at play. Right?

Wrong. The last time I suspect anyone conjured anything about the US Virgin Islands was whatever thought some Millennial/Gen Z’er had about Virgin Airlines or a hymen.

The governor wildly inflates his importance and the actual efficacy of the order unless the USVA is a hotbed of crime, gangs and violence — in which case the governor is massively negligent for allowing that situation to occur in the first place.

Governor Kenneth Mapp signed the order on Monday ahead of the Hurricane’s landfall. The order allows the Adjutant General of the Virgin Islands to take personal property that it believes is necessary to protect the islands. That apparently includes residents’ personal firearms and ammunition, along with whatever other property is deemed “necessary.”

Not just the outright confiscation of firearms, but the confiscations of any and all amounts or property, no limits.

AYFKM? No, sadly, I am not.

A portion of the order reads as follows:

This well and truly comports with the Second Amendment’s hurricane exemption.

Remember that this is not the first time that firearms confiscation measures have been implemented in response to a storm. After Hurricane Katrina, police confiscated firearms from quite a few people in New Orleans without due process of law.

Despite their inability to cope with the resulting mayhem, several days after the storm passed New Orleans officials ordered the confiscation of lawfully-owned firearms from city residents. In a September 8, 2005 article, the New York Times described the scene, stating, “Local police officers began confiscating weapons from civilians in preparation for a forced evacuation of the last holdouts still living here… Police officers and federal law enforcement agents scoured the city carrying assault rifles seeking residents who have holed up to avoid forcible eviction.”

Of course, I’m lying my arse off. There is no exemption to any portion of the Second Amendment for the purposes of a hurricane or any other exigent situation.

As a result, this from TheHill.com:

NRA threatens legal action over Virgin Islands firearm confiscation order

by Josh Delk

The National Rifle Association (NRA) is threatening legal action to stop a seizure of guns and ammunition by U.S. Virgin Islands Gov. Kenneth Mapp (I) ahead of Hurricane Irma, the group said Tuesday.

“People need the ability to protect themselves during times of natural disaster,” said Chris Cox, executive director of the NRA’S Institute for Legislative Action. “This dangerous order violates the constitutional rights of law-abiding citizens and puts their lives at risk.”

Let’s place a bit of historical significance around the issue, shall we? Remember, as some instructors said to me during various classes in university, “you may see this material again.” Or, “contrast and compare.”

Hand me my blue book.

New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin signed a similar order in 2005 amid the destruction from Hurricane Katrina allowing the seizure of private weapons, which the NRA opposed in a federal court. Congress later passed a bill, supported by the NRA and signed by President George W. Bush, banning future seizures of weapons during emergencies.

Apparently Governor Kenneth Mapp is well and truly that ignorant and that dictatorial. He has evidently purposely forgotten this. Would I be correct to suggest it’s no mere oversight?

Let’s go one video further. Did you hear of this? Did you read of this? Likely not. Government pointing live weapons at civilians in times of — what — flooding? At minimum with .223 long guns? To what end? Were you anticipating nothing but looters and/or drug dealers? I would hope there is more to the story.

That was just fine, right?

RESIDENTS WERE HANDCUFFED ON THE GROUND. IN THE END POLICE TOOK THEIR WEAPONS. BUT LET THEM STAY IN THEIR HOMES.

An actual Oathkeeper.

And that is what you get for deigning to live in any number of hundreds of Urban Rat Cages in the United States of America, once free, once jubilant, once unfettered.

I’m sure Governor Mapp is certainly in keeping with the Leftist’s meme of gun control, gun confiscation. Because I posit: where are the orders and the procedures delineated for returning these firearms to the citizens? Answer: they don’t exist. There is no such animal. Therefore there is no plan for it.

Confiscation. Permanently.

“Never let a serious crisis go to waste.”

Your rights are incessantly under assault.

Never doubt this.
