Democrats threaten US Supreme Court justices

Not a good idea for anyone to do this at any time, for any reason.

First, the Wednesday, March 4th story from the WashingtonExaminer.com:

Chuck Schumer threatens Kavanaugh and Gorsuch will ‘pay the price’ if they rule the wrong way

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer threatened Supreme Court Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Neil Gorsuch Wednesday after the conservative Supreme Court justices signaled a willingness to uphold a Louisiana law requiring doctors who perform abortions to acquire hospital admitting privileges.

And that clinics be within 30 miles of a hospital.

These are Senator Schumer’s comments on video at the pro-abortion rally outside the Supreme Court building in DC.

Senator Schumer said:

“They’re taking away fundamental rights. I want to tell you, Gorsuch, I want to tell you, Kavanaugh, you have released the whirlwind! And you will pay the price! You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

Oddly enough, it appears Senator Chuck Schumer was successful in promulgating frothing insanity there at the US Supreme court.

What “awful decisions” have been made by Justices Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, might you rightly ask? The answer is: no decisions. These words were predicated but upon a decision the likes of which Gorsuch and Kavanaugh may make in the future.

They haven’t made a decision yet. And no one knows precisely how they will decide. Additionally, of interest is the fact that Schumer didn’t threaten any other so-called “conservative” justice like, say, Justice Thomas. Schumer only threatened the jurists nominated by President Trump.

Also: why might admitting privileges and a nearby hospital be important? Because there can easily be medical complications in any abortion — and a Planned Parenthood or similar facility is not a hospital and does not inherently possess life-saving equipment and people inherently trained in life-saving measures as one would customarily acquire at a certified hospital or trauma center. Admitting privileges at a given hospital indicate a better trained individual familiar with local medical facilities, procedures.

Senator Schumer is stating, quite unequivocally, that he is against this. That means that he essentially could not care less about the life of the child — obviously — but more importantly, he apparently could not care less about the life of the mother.

As you might expect, some people did not care for the remarks — Chief Justice John Roberts in particular. From NBCNews.com:

WASHINGTON — Chief Justice John Roberts publicly chastised Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer on Wednesday over comments Schumer made outside the Supreme Court as the justices were hearing a case on abortion rights.

In a highly unusual written statement issued late Wednesday, Roberts said, “Statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous.”

“All members of the Court will continue to do their job, without fear or favor, from whatever quarter,” Roberts said.

Of course, Senator Schumer fell back on the standard Mark I, Model I lying-ass excuse of “I didn’t mean it.” From the LATimes.com:

Speaking on the Senate floor, Schumer said his words “didn’t come out the way I intended to.”

“My point was that there would be political consequences for President Trump and Senate Republicans if the Supreme Court, with the newly confirmed justices, stripped away a woman’s right to choose,” he said. He added: “I’m from Brooklyn. We speak in strong language.”

Uh, no. He said precisely what me meant to say. What he said wasn’t generic, it was very, very specific. He didn’t name President Trump. He didn’t name Senate Republicans. Schumer named, quite literally: Gorsuch and Kavanaugh. Very specific names.

As Hugh Hewitt wrote in response:

“It is far more grave than a mistake. It is a threat against individuals who live with them daily. It is an attack on the judiciary. It is an incitement to violence. It is a debacle and a terrible day for the country.”

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said:

“Contrary to what the Democratic leader has tried to claim, he very clearly was not addressing Republican lawmakers or anybody else. He literally directed the statement to the justices, by name. And he said, quote, ‘if you go forward with these awful decisions,’ which could only apply to the court itself. The minority leader of the United States Senate threatened two associate justices of the U.S. Supreme Court. Period.”

Now let’s think about what Schumer really meant.

The reality is that there won’t be so-called “political consequences” to any Supreme Court jurist. They are appointed for life. You can’t reduce their pay. You’d have to reduce the pay for all of them. So what could Schumer mean? Logically, what’s remaining?

I suppose, yes, you could dox them. Reveal their home addresses on the internet. The places where they shop or worship or their favorite restaurants. Clubs they attend. Personally-excoriating information.

The last thing possible would be actual violence. This would be wrong — not to mention illegal — on so many levels.

What Schumer’s rhetoric does do, as we have seen so many times before by Leftists, Demorats, Antifa et al, is grant a sort of tacit carte blanche to those who really do wish to enable violence. We’ve seen that on so many prior occasions.

You know: the kind of national Leftist violence we’re going to see on November 4th when President Trump is re-elected.

Senator Chuck Schumer views what the Supremes could do as “incrementalism.” You know: the kind of “incrementalism” that Leftists and Demorats pull on Republicans and Conservatives in terms of the First Amendment or the Second Amendment. Or essentially anything else involving freedoms and liberties.

Finally, you noticed my headline indicated “Democrats” and not just Senator Chuck Schumer. Why? Because that’s precisely the headline you’d get were things reversed.

What do you think the results would be had House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said those things of Leftist jurists Ginsburg and Sotomayor? The headline would have lumped all Republicans together; you know it and I know it. And we both know that the story would have been topping the news for at least a week. “Racist” this, “sexist” that. “Republicans threaten the lives of female Supreme Court justices.”

So save the faux “outrage” and the outright threats, Senator Schumer, over “ruling the wrong way” and abortion. The Supreme Court has been ruling against Conservatives for decades and you didn’t see politicians threaten jurists. As a matter of fact, the history of threatening jurists rests with the Demorat Party.

Mazie Hirono (D-HI), Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), Dick Durbin (D-IL), and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY)) who filed a brief earlier this week in a Second Amendment case the Supreme Court’s Republican majority could use to dismantle what remains of America’s gun regulations. Whitehouse is also the lead (and only) counsel on the brief.

The brief itself is less a legal document than a declaration of war. Though parts of it argue that the high court lacks jurisdiction over this case, New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. City of New York, the thrust of the brief is that the Supreme Court is dominated by political hacks selected by the Federalist Society, and promoted by the National Rifle Association — and that if those hacks don’t watch out, the American people are going to rebel against them.

Oddly enough, that didn’t happen. The world didn’t stop rotating on its axis. But doesn’t the rhetoric sound a bit familiar? Did Schumer tap the Five Angry Demorats for inspiration?

I submit: yes he did.

We all know the truth here.

Schumer threatened sitting jurists on the US Supreme Court.

And he meant every word.

The FBI: massacred by mid-and-upper management

Few trust the FBI any more.

With good reason considering recent revelations.

It used to be the premiere federal law enforcement agency. I worked for the FBI. They are a proud organization used to adhering to the triad of Fidelity, Bravery and Integrity.

They are no longer so. Mid-to-upper level management — particularly James Brien Comey — ensured most of the trust the organization garnered in decades past has “left the building.”

The 7th floor couldn’t be more corrupt. Oh wait, yes it could. James Comey could walk back there for a visit.

It is now revealed: the FBI paid for the dossier. Cash. Your hard-earned American Taxpayer dollars. For oppo research. You know the rest. From the WashingtonTimes.com:

FBI hired dossier author Steele to investigate Trump, fired him for lying about media leaks

The FBI officially authorized payments to Christopher Steele, who wrote the infamous TrumpRussia dossier, but then fired the former British spy for lying to agents about his covert leaks to the news media.

That’s a rather heady first paragraph.

Direct linkage from the FBI to the dossier. In terms of cash money. Paid. For oppo research. And former FBI agent Josh Campbell expects us to cry buckets of tears because he feels offended that the FBI has somehow become diminished in the eyes of the American public. Suck it up, buttercup. Your “leadership” put you there. I drink your disingenuous tears. You can pull the Martyr Bayonet out of your chest now. It ain’t playing and, worse, it’s poor stage blood.

The sequence of events is outlined in the declassified memo released Friday by Rep. Devin Nunes, California Republican and chairman of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

The Nunes memo is the first official confirmation that the FBI hierarchy made a decision to start paying Mr. Steele and why the deal fell through. Justice Department witnesses in public have declined to confirm such a deal.

But wait. Hasn’t it been the various guilty parties who’ve insisted our alphabet agencies are strictly secular and have no political inclinations whatsoever? Like, say, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, et al?

These cuts, of course, are conveniently forgotten and purposely avoided by the American Media Maggots because they doesn’t “fit.” You know why.

The memo shows that the bureau was using Mr. Steele’s unverified Democratic Party-financed dossier not only to obtain a court-ordered wiretap on Trump volunteer Carter Page, but it also wanted a commitment to a longer-term financial agreement with the former British intelligence officer to continue investigating President Trump.

If he had not lied, Mr. Steele, who vowed to ruin the Trump candidacy, could have been investigating Mr. Trump from the postelection transition into his presidency.

Your FBI at work, continuing to cement the relationship between — wait. What?

Apparently Leftists fervently believe we have no memory or access to this kind of unusual thingie called the internet. Where moments in time can live in perpetuity.

More damning yet is this:

Mr. Steele denied to the FBI that he was feeding his discredited information to the press. But on Oct. 30, 2016, an article in Mother Jones magazine quoted an unidentified former spy — who was obviously Mr. Steele — discussing his dossier and the FBI investigation.

The narrative is laid out in the Nunes memo. It notes that at the time the FBI sought the Page warrant on Oct. 21 “the FBI had separately authorized payment to Steele” for the same information the bureau submitted to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act court for the warrant. Mr. Steele wrote his last election dossier memo on Oct. 19, apparently ending his $160,000 in payments from Fusion GPS, the investigative firm that had hired him to produce the dossier.

How wonderful for you. Paying taxpayer dollars for the device that a politicized FBI and DOJ via the NSA decided to weaponize against, first, an American citizen (in violation of section 702), a presidential candidate and then an actual sitting president because — do we know precisely when the surveillance stopped?

No. We do not. But this is also important:

The dossier was exclusively funded by Democrats beginning in June 2016 through Fusion GPS, according to court and congressional hearings. The Washington Free Beacon had paid Fusion for Trump opposition research but broke off that arrangement in April.

CIA to Trump: we have you in our gunsights

As with many things in politics, you have to possess the ability to read between the lines. A new story from the WaPo made me conduct such an examination.

First, the story from the WashingtonPost.com:

Intelligence chiefs briefed Trump and Obama on unconfirmed claims Russia has compromising information on president-elect

A classified report delivered to President Obama and President-elect Donald Trump last week included a section summarizing allegations that Russian intelligence services have compromising material and information on Trump’s personal life and finances, U.S. officials said.

The officials said that U.S. intelligence agencies have not corroborated those allegations, but believed that the sources involved in the reporting were credible enough to warrant inclusion of their claims in the highly classified report on Russian interference in the presidential campaign.

If true, the information suggests that Moscow has assembled damaging information — known in espionage circles by the Russian term “kompromat” — that conceivably could be used to coerce the next occupant of the White House. The claims were presented in a two-page summary attached to the full report, an addendum that also included allegations of ongoing contact between members of Trump’s inner circle and representatives of Moscow.

I recommend you read the rest of the article. The information being revealed between the lines of the story indicates, to me, a rocky road coming for President-elect Trump.

Some history, then a conclusion.

It’s no surprise that I remain skeptical concerning the “Russian hacking” of the American election, resulting in the defeat of Hillary Rodham Clinton.

The Demorats tried throwing every excuse imaginable onto the political wall in order to see what would stick, to include recounts for Hillary Clinton under the pretext of their being for Jill Stein, talk radio and Fox News, the Electoral College, FBI Director James Comey, misogyny on the part of females (of all things), and fake news — to encompass the Drudge Report, which is nothing more than an aggregator of news and frequently features sites such as CNN, the Washington Post, the New York Times, the Baltimore Sun, Boston Globe, LA Times and more. If Drudge is “fake” then most certainly those other outlets are as well. They have also been saying “Russia Russia Russia” every day since November 8th.

The corollary glory of it all is that, particularly with regard to fake news, much of it has blossomed in the other direction. Time and again the true purveyors of fake news have been proven to be the American Media Maggots and not alternative news sources. The AMM have lost their “gatekeeper” status and desperately seek to lock it back up. They are quaking and frightened to their very core because they are losing control and cash.

That said, the theme that somehow Russia hacked the election and not only favored but enabled Donald Trump to win has its proponents and its detractors. Proponents would obviously include Hillary Clinton, Demorats and the American Media Maggots because, in their minds, it certainly had nothing to do with the quality of the candidate herself or the way the campaign was managed.

Detractors or skeptics would include myself and, well, a few other tens of thousands of persons.

First, I developed information from one source (corroborated by a similar intelligence source on the opposite coast) that the NSA was responsible (read here please) for the hacks, and this was supported by Judge Andrew Napolitano — from HRC’s mishandling of GAMMA class intelligence. Read this.

Then Julian Assange (he of Wikileaks creation) came out and straight-up stated that Russia was not connected to the hacking of the DNC and Podesta’s emails at all. Assange, being the recipient of the trove of materials should, one may conclude, know. The release of the information appealed to Assange because, after all, Hillary Rodham Clinton stated she would like to have had him killed with a drone strike. That would certainly seem sufficient to take HRC off Assange’s Christmas card list.

The FBI said the Russians were not responsible. Then Obama said the Russians were not responsible. A UK diplomat said it wasn’t the Russians. Who to believe?

Now they are responsible. The party line is that “17 intelligence agencies say Russia was the source.” With, again, little or no clear evidence to back up the claims.

There was another person along the way with a healthy skepticism about the Russians being involved in the DNC hack and the hacking of the US presidential election. Donald Trump.

The meme is that the CIA, the DNI and the rest of the US Intelligence Community would not politicize intelligence except that, well, yes they would. And have. All the time. This is not finger-pointing at the line-level agents, processors or analysts. This is finger-pointing at the upper echelons of the Intelligence Community. As in: they decide what information to release to those who base policy and decisions upon intelligence take.

It’s no secret that Donald Trump has angered the lofty halls of the US Intelligence Community. They don’t care to have their character or their veracity questioned or second-guessed.

So Tuesday’s WaPo article — which contained, they admit, much speculation and little fact, could be a cautionary tale, a little sub-frequency IC message to President-elect Donald Trump: you’re in our gunsights.

One has to think that the source of whatever information “Russia may possess” about Trump personally could be the USIC itself.

Charles Krauthammer said on Tuesday:

“When you get these spy-vs-spy leaks, you can’t believe anybody because they’re all lying and that’s what they do for a living, so you never know which side is lying. But I think that the very fact this story has surfaced, is a way for the CIA to be telling Trump: you mess with us, we have a lot of information we can mess with you.”

Then, for God’s sake, there is this.

The bottom line is: there are so many political machinations on so many levels for so many mixed and cross-purposed reasons that it is all very clear.

As clear as mud.

Still and all: Donald Trump, beware.
