Heads explode in the DC Swamp: consolidate government

You can hear the enamel chipping and flecking from the teeth of Deep State embedded do-nothing DC Swamp Rats from here.

And oh boy, if you think the Deep Swamp Statists are obstructionists now, hang on.

From TucsonNewsNow.com:

White House Proposes Merging Labor, Education Departments in Government Overhaul

by Kimberly L. Wright

(RNN) – The White House has proposed merging the Department of Labor and the Department of Education on Thursday as part of the overhaul of the federal government.

Mick Mulvaney, the Office of Management and Budget chief, unveiled a plan during what he called a “drain the swamp” cabinet meeting, media reported.

The proposal would allow the administration to focus its efforts on student vocational training under one department, according to The Washington Post.

Mulvaney said at the meeting he wants to reduce about 45 job training programs down to 15.

The overhaul proposal results from an order President Donald Trump signed in March last year, which called for a review of the federal government in order to find redundancies and streamline agency operations.

DC dentists, get ready. You’re about to be flooded with appointments.

Congress would need to approve any such overhaul of federal agencies.

The Department of Education was created by President Jimmy Carter in 1980, and has since been a subject of ire among conservatives.

The White House proposal to merge the departments is expected to occur as part of a larger vision to overhaul the federal government, including shrinking some agencies and altering the missions of others.

It’s part of a directive by Office of Management and Budget head Mick Mulvaney, urging leaders of federal agencies to find ways to streamline their efforts.

Again I say: this is precisely why I acquiesced and voted for Donald Trump. He’s the proverbial bull in the china shop.

Some days I don’t like that.

Most days I do.

That works for me.

Rip, tear. Repeat if necessary.

Oh yeah. It’s necessary.

Frank mows the White House lawn

It started with a letter to the White House, which read:

Dr Mr President:

It would be my honor to mow the White House lawn some weekend for you. Even though I’m only ten, I would like to show the nation what young people like me are ready for. I admire your business background and have started by own business. I have been mowing my neighbors’ lawns for some time. Please see the attached flier. Here’s a list of what I have and you are free to pick whatever you want: power mower, push mower, and weed whacker. I can bring extra fuel for the power mower and charged batteries for the week whacker. I will do this at no charge.

Sincerely,

Frank

So 11-year-old Frank from Falls Church, Virginia, came to the White House on Friday the 15th and mowed the White House lawn.

Frank was so intent on doing his job that, when approached by President Trump, he kept calm and carried on.

From TheHill.com:

Boy gets his wish to mow White House lawn, refuses to stop for Trump

by Judy Kurtz

Not even a chat with President Trump himself could stop an 11-year-old boy from fulfilling his wish of mowing the White House lawn.

Frank Giaccio, of Falls Church, Va., had written to Trump earlier this year, saying it would be his “honor” to “mow the White House lawn some weekend for you.”

In the letter, shared by White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders at a press briefing last month, Giaccio said he would cut the grass “at no charge.”

Giaccio was seen making good on his mowing offer on Friday after the White House invited the 11-year-old to spend the morning alongside a groundskeeper at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.

In videos posted on Twitter, Giaccio — sporting a red shirt and shorts — is seen pushing a lawnmower in the Rose Garden as Trump approaches him. Laughter from onlookers is heard as the boy doesn’t stop mowing, despite the president standing on the grass right beside him.

On a second pass, Giaccio did indeed stop long enough to shake the president’s hand before continuing with his yard work.

Of course, something as simple and honest as this couldn’t be allowed to stand by certain Leftists, could it? Of course not.

First there were these responses amongst many others.

Then from Twitchy.com:

Why Trump won: Former NYT labor reporter thinks boy mowing White House lawn sends a bad signal

As Twitchy reported Friday, an 11-year-old from Virginia who had volunteered to mow the White House lawn did exactly that this week, pushing a mower around the Rose Garden while the press took pictures.

Frank also met President Trump and was invited to the Oval Office; to us, it was the feel-good story of the week. But we were warned …

We compiled quite a few tweets from critics, but it seems fitting that the New York Times’ former labor reporter should be given special consideration. He thought it was a great display of patriotism and the work ethic that made America great, right?

Yeah, no.

Greenhouse has written a lot about kids being hurt by machinery. It’s a good thing, then, that no parent in America would let a child under 21 operate something as dangerous as a push mower out in the back yard, let alone pay them an allowance rather than an hourly minimum wage.

Steven Greenhouse doesn’t stop there. He refers someone to a website called the “Amputee Coalition” whose headline is this:

Lawn Mower Accidents Cause Needless Amputations

More Than 600 Children Undergo Mower-Related Amputations Each Year

More attention needs to be paid to lawn mower safety to avoid accidents to the operator and children. Needless limb loss accidents can be prevented by taking simple commonsense precautions. (See the checklist at the end.)

Depending on where you live in the U.S., you may mow your lawn 30 times or more this year. Every time you start your mower, you are dealing with a dangerous and potentially deadly piece of equipment. U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission statistics are shocking: Each year, 800 children are run over by riding mowers or small tractors and more than 600 of those incidents result in amputation; 75 people are killed, and 20,000 injured; one in five deaths involves a child. For children under age 10, major limb loss is most commonly caused by lawn mowers.

Without a doubt, parents, it’s time to start dressing your children in gigantic Nerf suits before sending them out the door. Better yet, keep them inside the house wearing the Nerf suits. Who knows what could occur when they leave your home. Wait! Don’t most accidents occur in the home?? Oh no! Now what should GOWPs do??

Here … if you don’t believe child labor is dangerous, read this website about amputees who lost a limb to a lawnmower. Actually, don’t read it — just get rid of your lawnmower and put the time you save mowing into getting them banned. Hell, start a lobbying group called Everylawn for Mower Safety.

Greenhouse couldn’t stop there. What does the American Academy of Pediatrics say about the terrible situation President Trump not only enabled but encouraged, the ignorant bastard?

Lawn mower injuries send 13 children to the emergency department every day

On average every day in the United States, 13 children receive emergency treatment for a lawn mower-related injury. That adds up to almost 4800 children injured each year. A recent study from the Center for Injury Research and Policy at Nationwide Children’s Hospital published in the American Journal of Emergency Medicine shows that, while there has been a decrease in the number of children injured by lawn mowers over the last few decades, this cause of serious injury continues to be a concern.

Run for your lives! Briggs & Stratton, Toro, Honda and Craftsman all exist to do nothing more than power child-eating machines!

But wait, there’s more. Maybe we should, in the end, ask Frank what he thought about the whole affair.

“It was really cool.”

Best summary I could envision.

This is with whom Obama negotiates

Khamenei Tweet About ObamaYes, the persons who continue to advocate “death to America” and, now, send Twitter messages about Obama committing suicide.

Is this not absolute insanity unbridled?  Why do we negotiate with the mentally unbalanced, those persons who have not and will not hold to treaties and agreements?

With this issue and that of Planned Parenthood, I become more convinced that I am inhabiting some sort of alternate reality from my worst nightmares.

Then I wake up and read the news for another day.

Obama: mixed up and muddled

And that quote is from his supporters regarding Iranian negotiations.

Imagine what his detractors are saying.  Like myself and others.

This president is having his house fall all about his shoulders, but few are noticing AMM-American-Media-Maggots-2because his water-carriers, the American Media Maggots, are shielding him continuously like the good lap doggies they promised to be at the outset.  GOWPs and the AMM, have shielded and protected Obama to the point where their credulity is now mostly lost.

Marie Harf Glittering JewelEven Marie Harf, the Department of State Flack, has to “explain” what Obaka really meant.  From CNSNews.com:

State Dep’t Clarifies Obama’s ‘Muddled’ Words on Iran Nuclear Breakout Time

by Patrick Goodenough

(CNSNews.com) – President Obama appeared to concede this week that under a final nuclear deal, Iran — after 13 or so years — would be able to build a nuclear bomb quickly if it chooses to do so. But State Department spokeswoman Marie Harf insisted later that the words had been misread.

Of course.  The words have been “misread.”

Harf told a daily briefing that Obama’s words “were a little mixed up” and “a little muddled,” saying they had referred to a hypothetical state of affairs in which an agreement had not been reached, rather than the situation as it will be in 13 years’ time under a negotiated agreement.

This is Marie Harf, the most ignorant glassesed bint on a current elevated government pedestal, quoting Barack Hussein Obama as “a little mixed up” and “a little muddled”?  And this is support?

Marie Harf did her level best to “walk back” Obama’s statements.  Please click the link.

Further, from Algemeiner.com:

“Open confusion” reigned today at the State Department after spokeswoman Marie Harf tried to withdraw a quote from President Barack Obama regarding Iran’s nuclear breakout time, advocacy group The Israel Project said.

In the interview with NPR’s Steve Inskeep, the President acknowledged that, after year 13, the current deal being worked out with Iran would not provide the international community with the promised 1-year warning should Iran decide to violate the deal and go for a nuclear weapon.

Details details details.  And on whom do these details fall?  Who wins, who loses?

Check out this article written by Henry Kissinger and George Shultz at WSJ.com.

NewsMax.com provides the article as an alternate, because the WSJ mandates a subscription and I won’t pay for internet sources.  I may provide dead links to you, but never at my own choosing.  And if I find dead links, I do my best to provide alternatives.  As I do now:

Kissinger, Shultz: Iran Deal Likely to Deepen US Involvement

The recently announced framework agreement on Iran’s nuclear program is more likely to increase American involvement in the Middle East rather than decrease it, former Republican Secretaries of State Henry Kissinger and George P. Shultz write in a Wall Street Journal op-ed.

In the 2,000-word piece posted on the Journal’s website on Tuesday night, Kissinger and Shultz wrote that “Rather than enabling American disengagement from the Middle East, the nuclear framework is more likely to necessitate deepening involvement there — on complex new terms.”

Meaning: in over six years, there is still no one sitting at the Adult’s Table in the Obama Administration.

Since the number of Iran’s centrifuges have jumped from 100 at the start of talks 12 years ago to almost 20,000 today, “The threat of war now constrains the West more than Iran,” the former secretaries wrote. “While Iran treated the mere fact of its willingness to negotiate as a concession, the West has felt compelled to break every deadlock with a new proposal.”

Now, Iran’s program is within two to three months of building a nuclear weapon.

“In a large country with multiple facilities and ample experience in nuclear concealment, violations will be inherently difficult to detect,” they said. “Devising theoretical models of inspection is one thing. Enforcing compliance, week after week, despite competing international crises and domestic distractions, is another.”

Damn them for daring to speak and write the truth.  As Caucasoids, Kissinger and Schultz must be racists, not senior analysts.

And Iran has been completely forthcoming with current and past IAEA demands?  Allowed inspectors in?

Uh.  No.  Not even remotely.

Past behavior is the best predictor of future performance or the lack thereof.

A wonderful “out”:

Another wrench thrown into the gears is the means of enforcement, “which provides Iran permanent relief from sanctions in exchange for temporary restraints on Iranian conduct,” Kissinger and Shultz said.

Further:

Kissinger and Shultz also attack the idea of a nuclear umbrella provided to Iran’s Arab neighbors by the United States.

“Are the guarantees extended against the use of nuclear weapons — or against any military attack, conventional or nuclear? Is it the domination by Iran that we oppose or the method for achieving it?” they say. “What if nuclear weapons are employed as psychological blackmail?”

The central argument and paragraph:

“If the world is to be spared even worse turmoil, the U.S. must develop a strategic doctrine for the region,” they argue. “Stability requires an active American role. For Iran to be a valuable member of the international community, the prerequisite is that it accepts restraint on its ability to destabilize the Middle East and challenge the broader international order.”

Let’s be frank: Barack Hussein Obama couldn’t negotiate himself or his loved ones out of a paper bag.

What makes anyone think BHO could make any cogent negotiation?

Obama gives away the store to Iran

From Breitbart.com:

Iran Triumphant: Nuclear Deal Capitulates To Nearly All Iranian Demands

by John Hayward

A beaming Iranian foreign minister emerged from the meeting rooms in Switzerland to announce that all of the theocracy’s major demands had been met. According to the new provisions released on the nuclear deal, Iran will get to both keep active its centrifuges and receive sanctions relief.

That Obama, what a hard-nosed negotiator by way of John Kerry!  And I’m sure the foreign minister was beaming because Iran bent the US over completely, insisting we grab our ankles and cough.

The State Department has released a “fact sheet” highlighting the various points of the deal. Sanctions against will be lifted immediately, and probably forever. Iran gets to keep a huge number of its nuclear centrifuges spinning, including a thousand of them at the previously hidden and illegal fortified bunker of Fordo, which is supposed to become a “peaceful” nuclear, physics, technology, and research center. There are sunset provisions on everything Iran has tentatively agreed to, although in his Rose Garden press conference announcing the deal, Obama claimed they would somehow be “permanently” blocked from various forms of weapons development.

If you want to have a little bit of throw-up in your mouth, finish the rest of the article.

Capitulation, thy name is Barack “Neville” Obamerlain.
