Under Hillary presidency: EO on guns

Feingold: Hillary Might Issue Executive Order on Guns

by Joe Schoffstall

Russ Feingold, the former Democratic senator from Wisconsin who is running again in an attempt to win back his old Senate seat, was recorded at a fundraiser saying that Hillary Clinton might issue an executive order on guns.

That should come as no surprise given her background and history. We knew it was in her playbook.

Feingold can be heard in the video discussing what Hillary Clinton could do in relation to guns if she were to be elected president.

“If there’s still Republican control in Congress, and if Hillary is elected, is there anything she can do to uhh…,” a person asks Feingold within the video. “Well, there might be an executive order,” Feingold responds.

“Oh, so she can, I know that Bara…” the questioner counters. Feingold then talks of President Obama’s executive orders throughout his two terms.

“He did some executive orders with the aspects of waiting periods. But what we all need is the Senate, have her there, and then put pressure on the House. And we might win the House,” Feingold says.

I wrote earlier that with Obama enacting such sweeping Executive Orders (EOs) he is setting precedent than can be followed by other presidents. The objection is not necessarily with the number of EOs signed by Obama — in fact he has signed, to date, 252 EOs in seven years compared to George Bush’s 291 in eight years, contrasted with Bill Clinton’s 364 in eight years — but with the overarching and wide-ranging content of the EOs, subject matter best left to Congress and not to one man.

Obama’s EOs are the most restrictive in the history of the presidency, utilizing more compulsory, binding and legally obligatory words like “must” and “shall” than the six prior presidents.

Further, Obama has stated he has done so specifically because the entire DC process is frequently too slow and cumbersome for his taste.

When the president — any president — publicly states that his or her intent is to purposely bypass Congress, that eliminates the concept of “checks and balances” and thusly tends to condense the three branches of government — the Judicial, Legisaltive and Executive — into one: the Executive.

With that follows an imperial presidency and on the heels, nothing good save perhaps that of tyranny.

Finally, I ask: when was the last time a Demorat or Leftist increased your American freedoms instead of reducing them?

I’ll wait.

Obama’s immediate future for the US: a DICTATORSHIP

Obama SOTU, The Real OneOn the heels of Tuesday’s state of the union speech, Obama has this planned:

An out and out diktat.  Mixed liberally with insanity.

Obama’s Chief Of Staff Just Made Horrifying Revelation About Obama’s ‘Audacious’ Final Plans

by Warner Todd Huston

“,,, (isn’t) constrained by law, Congress, or the Constitution.”

While President Obama’s frequent use of executive orders to implement his policies has angered many Republicans, his chief of staff is warning Obama has even bigger plans to enact policies without involving Congress.

White House Chief of Staff Denis McDonough had a warning for the nation — in his final year in office, Obama will indulge in “audacious executive action.”

McDonough issued his warning during a breakfast with reporters in Washington D.C., in response to a question about what the president meant when he said he would “go it alone” if Congress wouldn’t back him.

This is bare naked despotism.  Obama operates like a dictator because there is no one to oppose him.  While people speak words, Obama takes imperial actions via his Executive Orders.  He answers words with actions.

Yes, prior presidents have issued executive orders, but not on the massive scale and wide-ranging influence of Obama’s.

“Audacious executive action” indeed.

Meaning: Obama will continue to ignore an entire THIRD of the US government as though it doesn’t exist, simply for his own benefit.

According to National Review, McDonough replied, “We’ll do audacious executive action over the course of the rest of the year, I’m confident of that.” McDonough also said Obama and his team would endeavor to make sure his EOs couldn’t be “undone” by Congress at a later date.

“Couldn’t be undone by Congress.”  Because he is stepping over and completely ignoring Congress.

But McDonough hinted that Obama wasn’t going to be constrained by law, Congress, or the Constitution. “McDonough said the White House is considering executive action on any and all issues,” the magazine reported. “And the main question President Obama plans to ask himself is ‘Why not?’”

Yes, why not?  Just whom is stepping up to stop Mr Obama?  Do we even hear anyone in the GOP stridently excoriating Obama over his past actions and these future plans?  It’s not as if Obama is keeping this scheme secret.

This is a raw hijacking, wholesale, of the American government.  Mr Obama will not be constrained by LAW or the CONGRESS or the CONSTITUTION.

With Obama his diktats involve all-reaching content.

However, as David Harsanyi notes, it isn’t the number of EOs, but rather what is contained in them, that is cause for concern. Harsanyi says Obama has perpetrated the worst overreach of any executive in history and his EOs have been aimed at far reaching and substantive changes in the American way of life.

Mr Obama knows he’s a lame duck and finds himself totally unopposed.  Why wouldn’t he continue as American Dictator?

Even Leftist Bill Maher knows a dictator when he sees one.

Bill Maher said on his blog today that liberals should be pretty wary of President Obama‘s use of executive orders, because one day a president they don’t like will do it and they won’t like the results.

One thing you can count on, though: it won’t be a Republican who repeats Obama’s abuse of EOs.  They wouldn’t have the guts or the intelligence.

Terrorists through the border:

From TheBlaze.com:

The Odd Book One Texas Rancher Found Near the Border

by Sara Carter

An Urdu-to-English dictionary was not something Mike Vickers expected to find on the rocky earth underneath the cattle fencing around his 1,000-acre Texas ranch.

While local ranchers have to contend with torn-up fences, broken water lines, contaminated wells and robbery on a daily basis from illegal immigrants streaming through, a Texas Border Patrol agent told TheBlaze there is “no doubt” that among the hordes of Central Americans are also crossers from Pakistan and Afghanistan, raising significant national security concerns.

Urdu, the national language of Pakistan, is also spoken in parts of Afghanistan and India. People coming from these parts of the world are considered persons of special interest because of their potential connections to extremist groups in those regions, the agent said.

“We’ve found Korans, prayer rugs and many other unusual items at the border that certainly raise concern,” the agent said.

Thank you, Mr Obama, for fully enabling your amnesty program without having to lift an EO finger.

You quisling.
