Attorney General Eric Holder signed off on a controversial search warrant that identified Fox News reporter James Rosen as a “possible co-conspirator” in violations of the Espionage Act and authorized seizure of his private emails, a law enforcement official told NBC News on Thursday.
The disclosure of the attorney general’s role came as President Barack Obama, in a major speech on his counterterrorism policy, said Holder had agreed to review Justice Department guidelines governing investigations that involve journalists.
Holder previously said he recused himself from the AP subpoena because he had been questioned as a witness in the underlying investigation into a leak about a foiled bomb plot in Yemen. His role in personally approving the Rosen search warrant had not been previously reported.
Ladies and gentlemen, the fingerprints may finally be on the knife.
The fingerprints belonging to a major player in the OBAMA Cabinet.
James Rosen’s warrant was signed by Eric Holder.
And so: WHY isn’t this splayed all over the national media?
Oh yeah; right.
Obama is so duplicitous. He mentions the case; he purposely does not mention Eric Holder and does not call for the resignation or firing or prosecution of Eric Holder.
Ben Stein — who worked in the Nixon Administration, just said on O’Reilly: “This is Richard Nixon all over again, minus all the foreign policy achievements.”
- And this, DC, an area with a long and proud history of Management By Leftists whose first thought is to create infinite laws proscribing firearms.
- Because, apparently, all those anti-firearm laws have been to the great benefit of DC itself, yes?
- The citizens of DC buttressed, of course, in their witnessing and testimony in the numerous homicide investigations extant and in the past, secure in the knowledge that DC’s firearms laws will ensure their forthright and honest statements to the police, and that those black citizens and their families who have been victimized will stand up for their loved ones who have been heinously gunned down in cold blood.
- Unless, of course, those surviving family members happen to be of the same criminal ilk or gang of the victims and, due to that allegiance, find it incumbent not to cooperate in any fashion with the police.
- Because of the inherent doomed gangbanger and Free Cheese welfare lifestyle they have purposely chosen and purposely and steadfastly refuse to disavow. This is, after all, black-on-black crime.
Everyone lies. Murderers lie because they have to; witnesses and other participants lie because they think they have to; everyone else lies for the sheer joy of it, and to uphold a general principle that under no circumstances do you provide accurate information to a cop.
The victim is killed once, but a crime scene can be murdered a thousand times.
The initial 10 or 12 hours after a murder are the most critical to the success of an investigation.
An innocent man left alone in an interrogation room will remain fully awake, rubbing his eyes, staring at the cubicle walls and scratching himself in dark, forbidden places. A guilty man left alone in an interrogation room goes to sleep.
It’s good to be good; it’s better to be lucky.
When a suspect is immediately identified in an assault case, the victim is sure to live. When no suspect has been identified, the victim will surely die.
First, they’re red. Then they’re green. Then they’re black. (Referring to the color of an open case on the board, the money that must be spent to investigate the case, and the color of the solved murder as it is listed on the board)
In any case where there is no apparent suspect, the crime lab will produce no valuable evidence. In those cases where a suspect has already confessed and been identified by at least two eyewitnesses, the lab will give you print hits, fiber evidence, blood typings and a ballistic match.
To a jury, any doubt is reasonable; the better the case, the worse the jury; a good man is hard to find, but 12 of them, gathered together in one place, is a miracle.
There is no such a thing as a perfect murder. Always has been, and anyone who tries to prove otherwise merely proves himself naive and romantic, a fool who is ignorant of Rules 1 through 9.
Let us now reflect on the wonders of Leftists and Demorats who began the trend of forcefully and systematically separating black fathers from the family unit in the 60s under the guise of LBJ’s Great Society, and whose steadfast political Free Cheese betrayal has resulted in the outright butchering of hundreds of thousands of black males, women, children, infants and the unborn due to violence and abortion.
Yeah, those gun laws, the Free Cheese, that certainly has had its benefits to the “black community” has it not, ladies and gentlemen?
President Obama “obviously likes giving speeches more than he does running the executive branch,” Chris Matthews said tonight.
“What part of the presidency does Obama like? He doesn’t like dealing with other politicians — that means his own cabinet, that means members of the congress, either party. He doesn’t particularly like the press…. He likes to write the speeches, likes to rewrite what Favreau and the others wrote for the first draft,” Matthews said.
“So what part does he like? He likes going on the road, campaigning, visiting businesses like he does every couple days somewhere in Ohio or somewhere,” Matthews continued. “But what part does he like? He doesn’t like lobbying for the bills he cares about. He doesn’t like selling to the press. He doesn’t like giving orders or giving somebody the power to give orders. He doesn’t seem to like being an executive.”
Hmm. Not the same words of the formerly-ebullient Chris Matthews who absolutely adored Mr Obama not too terribly long ago.
CHRIS MATTHEWS: He does run the IRS. He runs the Treasury Department. He runs the United States government, and he is accountable for it, and this is nonsensical.
AG Holder is continuing, however, to ensure that Obama’s and Clinton’s collective asses are covered as, below, he refuses to appoint a Special Counsel for Benghazi:
According to Mr Obama’s thoughts and actions, he is clearly an uninvolved third party. He is not responsible. He campaigns, he speaks, he pontificates, he scowls, he reads from a TelePrompter. He believes, however, that to be expected to labor in any significant way in the White House is beneath him. It should be sufficient to appear at work daily, place his feet on any number of valued and historic White House pieces of furniture, and have praise bestowed upon him (peace be upon him).
Obama is classless, tasteless, an empty egomaniacal suit. And I have always believed that Mr Obama has NPD.
The train is approaching a switch; it is up to the American Media Maggots to align it properly for the Obama Train. Will they?
The town is turning on President Obama — and this is very bad news for this White House.
Republicans have waited five years for the moment to put the screws to Obama — and they have one-third of all congressional committees on the case now. Establishment Democrats, never big fans of this president to begin with, are starting to speak out. And reporters are tripping over themselves to condemn lies, bullying and shadiness in the Obama administration.
When you’re losing Politico, Mr Obama, you should start to seriously become concerned.
The progressive-leaning investigative journalism group ProPublica says the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) office that targeted and harassed conservative tax-exempt groups during the 2012 election cycle gave the progressive group nine confidential applications of conservative groups whose tax-exempt status was pending.
You mean to say that Leftists went after Conservatives under a Leftist government? Shocking, I tell you! Shocking!
The commendable admission lends further evidence to the lengths the IRS went during an election cycle to silence tea party and limited government voices.
ProPublica says the documents the IRS gave them were “not supposed to be made public”:
The same IRS office that deliberately targeted conservative groups applying for tax-exempt status in the run-up to the 2012 election released nine pending confidential applications of conservative groups to ProPublica late last year… In response to a request for the applications for 67 different nonprofits last November, the Cincinnati office of the IRS sent ProPublica applications or documentation for 31 groups. Nine of those applications had not yet been approved—meaning they were not supposed to be made public. (We made sixof those public, after redacting their financial information, deeming that they were newsworthy.)
The group says that “no unapproved applications from liberal groups were sent to ProPublica.”
Isn’t it criminal to steal the tax information of others?
And, isn’t it — as Obama says — just another “side-show.”
Except that this so-called “side-show,” Mr Obama, is a show entirely of your creation, helmed by you, abetted by you, rubber-stamped by you.
This is the new Obama:
Barack Milhous Obama
Though this will be swept aside to a major degree by Obama-fellating American Media Maggots, there are still a handful of true journalists who will cover the information, though they clearly number in the minority.
For an administration that sold itself as the “most transparent in history,” it would seem that unprecedented opacity is the actual norm.
I am so incredibly tired that the American Media Maggots continuously portray these abrogations, these heinous abuses of power, as “mistakes.” They are not mistakes; they were made with great purpose and, as a result, there should be criminal investigations and resulting convictions. People should be put into prison.
And there needs to be a Special Prosecutor. We need to know what went on in these events — Benghazi, the IRS, the AP taps — and, absent a Special Counsel, this illegal conduct will simply be whitewashed. Someone needs to be INDEPENDENT of the DOJ and the White House.
The investigation needs to be comprehensive, thorough, honest and truly independent. There is no room for any kind of “committee;” our government’s veracity is being undermined by Barack Hussein Obama on a scale that grows with each passing week. It is, to quote Hugh Hewitt, “serial lawbreaking” on the part of the Obama Administration — and Mr Obama is responsible. It is his cabinet, his employees, taking place on his Watch.
The coercive powers of government were used for partisan politics, plain and simple.
